The umbrella is big and can easily fit 2 people under it. As far as wind, our first one caught a small gust of wind, flipped inside out and broke. We ordered a replacement so if it does the same thing then I’ll definitely be sending back for a refund. Update; I received my replacement umbrella and it was BROKEN! I inboxed and walked outside to use since it’s storming today and it’s broken in 3 places. I couldn’t even get it closed once opened. This umbrella is terrible and not worth the money. Do not purchase. Update 2: This company had someone from a random gmail account email me and ask me to delete my review and then they would refund me. Amazon already refunded me so I did not need theirs. However, they cannot pay me to delete an honest comment. It is unfortunate that I received broken items but that is what happened. Update 3: This company is STILL emailing me and asking me to remove my comments!! So ridiculous! ... show more

Not to much to say about . Is just a umbrella , nothing special . Looks beautiful with a nice finish . This is a 62 inches . Im big guy , this will protect me enough . What can I say about this umbrella? First and foremost, my husband asked for a small umbrella, one that he could put in his tool bag and use on the job site going from his car to which ever building he may be working on, so that’s why I chose the vibrant orange. Flash forward to it arriving. 2 days before Christmas, baking cookies with the kids, Alexa starts telling me a package has arrived. I’m elbow deep in cookie dough so my older child goes outside to get it. I knew it was the umbrella, it was the only package left undelivered. She walks in- I stop and stare in utter disbelief. All I could say- oh no. Must’ve said it for or five times. Meanwhile my kids are asking me what it is. I clean cookie dough from my hands, and start opening this box- which is big enough to house a patio umbrella-thinking to myself surely Amazon just put it in the wrong box. Boy was I wrong. Here come the oh no’s again. I pull out this giant umbrella that was probably what Mary Poppins herself used to float down to take of those kids and my own children just laugh, and laugh and laugh. So not wanting to bring anymore bad luck to this year that is 2020- I take the Goliath of umbrellas outside to see how big it really is opened. Good grief. More laughing from the kids- more oh no’s from me. It should probably have come with a stand to hold it under the patio table. Clearly, I did not read the size correctly. In the end- my husband laughed- after all, this thing is so big it comes with its own carrying bag and strap. In the future I’ll read sizes before ordering. The media could not be loaded. This is the first umbrella I have owned that my wife and I can both fit comfortably under and not get wet. Normally I would sacrifice my spot under an umbrella so my wife can take it but this umbrella does work well if you prefer to share the umbrella.It's a great umbrella that works well so I have no complaints. If you are trying to use this while getting out of a car just be mindful of how big it pops open. ... show more

I named the umbrella "My Purple Cabin." It's so BIG and could hold 2 adults and 3 kids!!! Living where there is wind past 55 miles an hr (which I DON'T venture into) but has many days of 15 to 30 mile winds (Florida). This umbrella is amazing!!! I can pull is down and still stay mostly dry. It doesn't get tangled in my hair as other metal ones do. I've never had an umbrella I've been so pleased with. It feels very durable but not heavy to hold. The fabric is thick. The handle is soft to hold. Pops open nice and smooth not quick. The double layers help air flow through it so your not taken up with the wind. For the lower price, strength, largest size, I feel like I have a very expensive umbrella... ... show more

This umbrella is a monster! It is very sturdy and the pigment of the colour (mine is purple) is beautiful. Folds down and secured with two straps, has push button open, and a cover with shoulder sling. It's perfect!

    • A great umbrella for a crowd in a Texas thunderstorm

The first thing you notice is that this is a BIG umbrella! We’ve had a lot of storm in Texas this spring, so it’s gotten a lot of use in thunderstorms with high winds. Earlier this week a charity which my wife has been a board member hosted a multi-church choir concert as a fundraiser. The board member all brought umbrellas to help get attendees into the church. In some cases people were forced to park almost a 100 yards from the entrance. When my wife arrived, she “won” the biggest umbrella prize, and was able to get two additional people to the church mostly dry in a hard thunderstorm! However, and even more important her umbrella didn’t get reversed in the high wind as several others did. What more can you ask? ... show more

very nice and large golf umbrella. this umbrella is made out of solid plastic so it is lighter than the typical large umbrella. the plastic is strong and should hold up for a while. it has a "windproof" feature where gusts of windwill come out of the top because of the 2 canopy design. it seems to work pretty well, but i have not tested it in really high wind situations. the quality is good. despite it being plastic, it does not feel cheap. there is a carrying case that comes with a shoulder strap that fits nicely around the umbrella. the carrying case is nice because it would be a little bit awkward to carrying the thing every where because of the size. it auto opens smoothly and has 2 ties vs 1 to keep it compact. i recommend this umbrella for someone looking for a large golf umbrella. ... show more
