The decibel reduction is very good, and they are very comfortable. I wear them while running my farm tractor, mowing our field, logging, grading our driveway, and they reduce the noise so much you can have the radio volume low & hear it fine. They are much more comfortable than a pair I had from Home Depot & those went through a lot of triple A batteries 3 at a time. This unit takes 2 AA batteries. I had been carrying 2 AA's in my pocket, but after weeks of using them for hours each day 5 to 6 days a week, I put the extra batteries away. I'm still on the first 2 batteries I put in it, and bought this week's ago. The only negative is no blue tooth so if I'm working & get a call, I have to shut down the tractor & take the ear muffs off to talk, but the lack of blue tooth is probably greatly helping the battery life. Since I wear them to save my hearing, not talk on my phone, the comfort & battery life way out weigh the use of Bluetooth. If these ever die, I would definitely buy another pair. Very well made & comes with a pouch to keep them in, so when I'm done, I just hang the pouch on the tractors Rops.

These are really good - definitely FOUR stars. In most situations they cancel the background noise, but in situations around power tools (riding lawn mower, electric weed-eater/trimmer, electric blower) not so much. Cancels about 80% which is good, but a bit more would be nice. The blue tooth connect is simple and very clear and strong. The AM/FM radio is adequate, and could be the fact that I am out in the country side. The instructions are VERY POOR. It is definitely a computer/AI translation word for word from Chinese (or another Asian language) to English. Very difficult to understand how to recharge the internal battery. I am 79 years old and have owned a half dozen headphone radios to listen to basketball games when my favored college teams are playing on the road. I have owned headphone radios from SONY, Panasonic, RCA and various off brands. My New Zohan headphone radio works absolutely the BEST in all rooms of my home. My older headphone radio would have areas in the house where their transmission was fading and it would become weak and get lost in a cloud of interference. Not so with my new Zohan EMO42. Love the fit and the sound. I did fix an inherant problem with batteries constantly popping out. Rip a standard business card in 3 strips the size of battery compartment anplace over batteries, then snap lid shut. You can use a small piece of thin foam as well which will even be better. Fixed batteries coming loose. Period. 1 penny worth fixes this problem but nobody seems to know about it nor cares.

I used the headphones once. They seem well made but for one thing. The volume control knob is alittle hard to use with my fingers. I think the knob control could be easier to operate.

I use this headset when using my tractor to bush hog, chip, and split wood. The head band is very comfortable and the ear cups fit perfectly and not to tight. Quieter than my previous set made by another brand. Music very clear. Good quality and value.
