My three year old like to color papers totally full without any surface forgotten. She can sit and write and color forever until she is satisfied all the surface is filled in. I got this for her. She is having a blast scratching the black surface off to reveal colorful prints underneath. It came with a wooden stick that has a pointed edge, so I watch her and make sure she stays on the table, and I put away the wooden piece after she is done. Kids like running around with sharp things and it gives me anxiety. I am a very paranoid mother. The papers are made of thick card stock. It can't easily be punctured. They are smaller than a printed sized paper. Very fun activity. This would be a great activity for travel in the car as well.

Great activity for a rainy day! The paper scratches easily with the wooden tools included, and the stencils are a nice bonus. It would be nice if the paper was just a little bigger and there were a few more wooden tools if you were going to use it with a group of children or in a classroom, but overall, a very good product!

What a great idea! This kit has everything you need to keep a young child busy! It’s easy to scratch off and reveal the beautiful colors underneath. It’s a nice thick cardboard so pressing down won’t be to harsh on it. I love that it comes with different pictures to trace around. Makes a fun time crafting, making notes to each other, small signs and can be used to teach letters, numbers, homework…whatever it’s used for will make the time more enjoyable! I will be gifting this to my great niece who loves crafting and coloring! I liked playing with it myself as you can see in the picture. Fun and unique product!

Right off the bat, I like this set. I have tried multiple sets of Scratch Paper, both in Rainbow and in solid colors. I much prefer the Rainbow paper as it is more interesting to me. This includes 4 stencils and 6 wooden stylus’s along with the 60 pieces of rainbow paper that are about 5 x 7 inches. This was easy to scratch off and left very little debris. I like that you never know what part of the rainbow you will get. For kids that like to draw and doodle this is a great set. I got it so my grandchild can practice handwriting skills…something to make it more fun rather than ‘homework’. I think if you really had a little artist, they could make some pretty cool designs with this. But to me, it is all about the fun and not the result. I would purchase this set again, and I really liked playing with it.

All the kids like to draw and use colors. They use crayons, markers, colored pencils, those little doodle pads, etc. This is something that is different, and they have fun with them. It has 60 pieces, which is a good amount, and it's not super expensive. The sheets are kind of small. I thought they were normal sized sheets of paper, but they're good for a sketch size. I took a picture with them and a normal sized paper so you can see. These are basically like scratcher pads which are black in color, with a rainbow colored paper underneath. You can't erase, you just scratch off. Of note, as you scratch, some of the black stuff comes off on the table, so you will want to wipe that up. It's not the end-all of craft items, but it is definitely different than the other stuff the kids have been using, and I'm positive they will get through all of them and enjoy it, which means it's a purchase well spent.

I bought these for the kids, and they love them. I constantly have to buy scratch paper for them because it's so entertaining to reveal rainbow colors. This keeps them occupied for quite some time, especially with 60 sheets. Don't lose the wooden styluses though! This set comes with 6 and the kids easily misplace them over time. We eventually find them and they're back at scratching again. I think that this was pretty cheap price-wise compared to other scratch paper that I've bought and they don't really notice any difference in quality. Is it for professional art? Probably not.

As an artist I immediately had to try these out! It was so much fun using them. I had never used them before so it was interesting learning how to use scratch pads. But for kids and the stencils and stuff it comes with these are totally a blast! Can’t wait to use them more! Update: I’ve been using these for pet portraits and they’re -PERFECT- they’re so cute and awesome for these!! I have to brush away the dust a lot to keep a clean surface and wipe the pencil off pretty frequently when doing these, but other than that it’s just so much fun making these!! Awesome product!
