Got this scratcher set to write cute notes to my wife, but it's hard to write the perfect note because any little thing--even the side of your fingernail as you're writing--will scratch and ruin your note. The only way to write is if you grip the toothpick with a fist and scratch into the card the opposite of how you'd normally write. I guess it'd be fine for kids but don't get this if you plan to actually write on them.

These are much more beautiful than expected! And here's three reasons why: 1. They are WAY thicker than I had guessed- it's almost a cardstock feel to each small sheet 2. The black coating is not flaky so you can do small lettering and it doesn't flake between letters (see photo) like scratchart can do. Also, sketching would be great with these just be aware again that they are like 4 inches square so quite small-which shows how great the quality is that i could write so small with different details and you can read it! 3. The underlayer is silver shiny but it's a sparkling rainbow of all of God's colors when you shine it in the light back and forth, which reminds me that God keeps His promises to us always. I can't wait to use these in cards to send some encouraging notes to remind others that Jesus loves them, made them special, and is with them as they trust in Him. As shown in photo, I will write in these and send them in cards to share a fun way to remind friends of promises from God's Word. I hope they are a blessing to you too.

these are so freaking cool . the ones i have always gotten are rainbow colored or multi colored but these ones are metallic and rainbow kind of . so they were perfect for my sons space themed birthday . they looks super cool when all done . there is good amount of scratch pads and scratchers that come in the box we still have a bunch of them left and will use them again for other get togethers or birthdays . good price for how many and the color of them super happy with these

These are really cool. They are kind of like sticky notes but you scratch off the message. Underneath is a holographic color which is super neat. It’s easy to use. The only downside is that at scratches easily so once you do it, make sure it doesn’t get the touched. I like to use these for a little gifts. Great size for small messages.
