Slugging balm is fantastic. Like a more airy smoother version of Aquaphor. I had been picking at skin around the horrible old lady chin hairs that sprouted in my 30s. This calmed that skin in one night and now it’s healing beautifully. I bought at CVS on sale initially and then just ordered more on here with the 40% off deal. I hope they’re not discontinuing this. Love this for skin moisturizer and for repairing my skin barrier when it’s broken. I didn’t give it five stars cause it rubs off easily when you lay down. So make sure to put on and let soak in awhile before bed.

I was looking for a less expensive replacement for snail mucin! This did not work for what I needed! Basically glorified vaseline. NOT for all skin types especially acne prone.

7/19/24 update - I’ve been using this for several months now and it is still the nicest face cream I have. It’s also one of the least expensive. My skin looks great. It feels great too and the cream doesn’t leave any tacky mess on the face. Try it! Original review- I bought this ZitSticka HydraDew Gel Moisturizer for Face for my daughter because she's a late teen and breaks out. I never considered this for me, but she wouldn't try it. She was afraid she might have a reaction and wasn't even willing to give it a try. I finally did. I've ordered literally tons of high end face products and was completely surprised by how much I liked this cream immediately. It felt light and pleasant and absorbed quickly. It felt a bit like menthol or mint, but really light. My face felt great after applying it and great the next day. I liked it better than the Neutrogena Hydro Boost which is saying a lot since everyone I know likes that cream. It defiinitely doesn't have an adult name, but it is a product I encourage adults to try. I really think it's great.

My review is for the NEW!! ZitSticka HydraDew Gel Moisturizer for Face- 1.9 Fl Oz Hydrating Formula for Acne Prone, Dry, Oily & Sensitive Skin - Made w/ Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid & Green Tea - Facial Skincare for Women Despite the dumb and unappealing brand name ("ZitSticka"!?), I actually really love this moisturizer. I have sensitive skin and not only did I not react at all to this, I actually 100% notice better moisture and plumping to my skin! I think this is a bargain product. I actually put it on in AM or PM, and may "refresh" my skin moisture throughout the day by keeping this in my handbag. It's small enough to easily do this, and I put it on during the day over my (admittedly minimal) makeup. The consistency is almost like a cloud-like gel that rubs in effortlessly and completely with no residue or stickiness.

This one is a holy grail product for me! It's feels like a thinner form of aquaphor or vaseline, and perfectly tops off any moisturizers or other products you use in your skincare routine, preventing them from evaporating overnight and locking in all the much needed moisture. I have used it on top of a single moisturizer, and on top of serum + moisturizer combos, and both were great. It doesn't clog pores or cause any kind of skin congestion like other slugging products sometimes can. My skin is baby soft and smoothed, my moisture barrier feels healthier, and my skin texture has even improved. My only complaint is that the jar is very small. Even the outer packaging is larger, but has small cardboard lifts in the bottom to make the box seem fuller. That's kind of weird to be honest. And I do wish this was a larger size for the price. But I love it enough to overlook that, and will definitely be ordering it again.

If you are looking for a light weight moisturizer that will not cause break outs this is it. It is perfect for dry skin to use in humid weather. For winter I would need something more moisturizing.
