    • A tremendous value for surprisingly sturdy, lightweight canvas boards
When I saw how thin these canvas boards are, I expected them to be flimsy. They're not. They're just as sturdy as the thicker, heavier canvas boards I pay twice as much (or more) for. I can barely flex these, much less fold or break them. So, kudos to the manufacturer for however this was achieved. The canvas grain is very fine, and - like most budget canvas boards - doesn't always run parallel to the sides of the board. However, because the grain is so fine, any irregularities won't show up if you're applying anything heavier than a wash to the canvas. (Also, plenty of these boards have an even canvas grain, anyway.) What I love about these canvas boards is how light and compact they are. With no added weight or space, I can pack at least 30% more of these for taking to workshops or outside for plein air painting. While these aren't consistently perfect canvas boards, every one of them is usable. The light weight mixed with sturdiness is a tremendous plus. So, as a third-generation artist who does a LOT of work (painting and mixed media) on canvas boards, I'm comfortable saying this is an excellent value and a five-star product. ... show more

To get this many for this price is a deal, even being basic canvases. I got these to practice getting back into painting, that's why I decided to go for so many. This many at this price will allow anyone to test the waters with painting (or using other mediums) and having plenty of chances to try again if errors occur. They are smaller too, so they do not take up a lot of space, and would be great for gift making too. They are prepared with acrylic already, so that saves a step, plus makes it easier to erase if you are drawing out your artwork first. For being basic canvases, they are decent, and no major flaws on any that I can see. I would definitely order these again if my passion for painting and doing art is restored. ... show more

These thin canvases work great with acrylics and water paints. I'm not an expert painter, but they feel firm and stable when painting, making it easier to paint details. I like that they aren't too big or too small.

These should last my daughter a while. I like that they are the thinner canvas so that they can easily be hung on the wall without looking bulky. The quality felt good and the paint stuck well. We will get these again when we run out.

    • Great Canvas Board!
Love these- we do a lot of art projects in our house and like to give art as gifts. These canvas boards are perfect for acrylic and oil paint creations! We are definitely beginners, so I can't speak to professional quality- but for new painters, these boards are fantastic!

These are absolutely perfect for practicing on,they take oil paint and acryllic paint beautifully. There was no leaking or warping or anything of that nature,just a sturdy canvased panel.
