I had not been familiar with zinc pyrithione before ordering this soap, but I was eager to try it. I have a spot of itchy skin on my back that I had actually had removed because of worries it could have been something bad. It turns out it was just seborrheic dermatitis. I found that this soap has mildly improved the itchiness of that spot and provided relief. The soap has a very mild smell that is almost not noticeable and does not linger after rinsing. It has a medium lather and rinses cleanly. I did notice that when it rinses, it leaves my skin feeling somewhat tacky until it is completely dry, then that feeling goes away. Once dry, my skin felt smooth and comfortable, not overly dry. When I use the soap on my hands, they do not feel like they need lotion afterwards. The size of the bars is about the same as an average bar of soap and I feel like they last a long time, rather than melting away quickly. For the size of the bars, I feel like they are a good value for the money.

Up for review is "Zinc Soap Bar with Zinc Pyrithione" 2 bars of soap come in a box. I have itchy skin, and after using it for 3 days, it seems to offer a little relief, but it could also be placebo effect. What I noticed is that the soap does not create a lot of foam bubbles compared to my liquid soap. It feels like there is a bit of wax on my skin after washing. However, I urge you to search for "EU Zinc Pyrithione". You will find that Zinc pyrithione is banned in the EU in March 2022 due to reproductive toxicity concerns. It is not banned in the US yet. In fact, Head & Shoulder sold a shampoo that uses it. But for a product advertised as using it as its main ingredient, you should proceed with caution.

I ordered this Zinc Soap Bar by Erbaid to help soothe areas on my skin affected by mild psoriasis. Since I am trying to avoid using strong steroid based creams, my doctor suggested I try washing with a zinc pyrithione soap. He explained to me that zinc pyrithione has been shown in studies to act as an anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative agent as well as having antiseptic, antifungal, and antibacterial properties. This zinc soap has a mild lather. There are exfoliating granules on one side of the soap. The scent is lightly floral and natural, not at all perfumy. My skin is literally squeaky clean after washing with this Erbaid zinc soap. I have been using this soap daily for a week and am already seeing calming effects on my red, itchy, dry, flaking spots. Of course, results can vary on different skin conditions and types. The price for 2 bars of handcrafted soap made in the United States is fantastic. I will be ordering this zinc soap again.

It really isn't bad for the price. First of all it comes in a pack of two. The soap lathers alright, not amazingly, but still fairly good. The soap is pretty dense. There's some deposits just on one side of the bar, which I'm not sure if it's by design or it's because the zinc pyrithione all settled to the bottom, so keep that in mind. It basically has no scent. It's not great at moisturizing, and I live in a dry place, so I would need something additional to this soap. Hard to say concerning the antifungal effectiveness of the soap since I don't have any fungus on me but you can definitely see the zinc pyrithione. Overall not bad.

Wow, what a difference the Zinc Soap Bar makes. Great smell Two bars come in their packet. It smells very nice clean refreshing.. zinc is very good for your scam and I should’ve been using this all my life to be honest with you, but for our skin goes, you know your acne dermatitis eczema rosacea itching in general. This will definitely help.. I wished I had thought about this when my sons were growing up that teenager where everybody gets acne and they hate themselves. They hate you know people looking at them and everything else. No child, teenager, or any adult wants there face to look like one big pimple.. Another reason for this order is after turning 45, now in my 50’s the redness on my face which never changes. So when I saw this advertised and started reading and researching I ordered 4 packets, not for myself, also for my grown children. • The Smell is like a Rose Garden.

It's not flowery but it's also not astringent. It smells gender neutral and doesn't linger on my skin after use. This soap lathers well and rinses away cleanly. Most importantly, it seems to soothe my poor skin. I live in New England and have a wood stove (dry interior air) and animals to attend to outside in all weather (harsh winter air) so my skin, especially on my hands, gets really dried out and fragile. I think using this soap is calming my skin and helping it to feel healthier, less fragile, in this harsh season. It works better than I expected and I'm delighted this is a two pack!

If you have a special need for the antifungal or antibacterial properties of zinc this might be the soap for you. I found that a bar only lasts a little over a week which is about half as long as my normal soap. It lathers up nicely and has a pleasant smell. I have not noticed any changes in my complexion. I have noticed some tingling on my lips. I'm not sure if that's because we're in the winter dry season or the zinc. Compared to brand name soaps I find this to be a little pricey.

This double box set of zinc soap is an excellent value. The bars are a generous size and the feel great on the skin. The scent is floral with a hint of fruity and it is very pleasant while using. I wanted to give this a try because my skin hates to be shaved. It's getting worse over time ( and during the winter) but this has helped calm that down. I do have to apply lotion afterward though! It is mostly gentle but daily I noticed I'll get dry because of how potent it is. That's okay, switching soaps every other day and using lotion still cuts down on irritation.
