I looked for days to find night vision goggles. I always read reviews and these rated high & weren’t ridiculously overpriced. We have a large yard that has a lot of wildlife at night & wanted to see the different creatures without scaring them off. These binoculars are amazing! We haven’t used all the features yet but just watching the deer in the pitch dark has been incredible! The viewing screen is big enough my husband and I can both look at the same time. The media could not be loaded. I was very surprised at the quality. Excellent product. Very easy to operate. It exceeded my expectations. It has very good picture quality. For the price you can't get much better than this. I would recommend it to my good friends.

Not bad device but I wanna focus on a few conns: 1) 8 batteries! it's a lot...why just do not make something rechargeable? 2) it's totally not comfortable keep it at face, even close do jot repeat shape of face! when you lean against your face, the lower part rests on the bridge of your nose and your nose does not allow you to lean it tightly so that there are no gaps of 1 inch. And at the same time, pain still appears so that it is not possible to use it for a long time. ... show more

Let's be very clear. You absolutely CAN spend more money, a lot more money, on a set of Night Vision Goggles. The question is, with the Zimoce Digital NVGs, why would you? This NVG is an outstanding value at any price, but considering it's around the $250 mark at the time of this review, it's a downright steal! The materials used in construction are of very good quality and feel quite durable. The optics are bright and clear. There's no haziness or greenish washout when using the night vision mode. Even during the day the binoculars work well, but keep in mind, these are predominantly for low light and no light use. Therefore, most of the value is found in the NVG technology. If you're just looking for binoculars, you can find a better pair for far less money. Operating them is simple and straightforward once you learn the controls. After a few minutes practice they become almost intuitive. This allows you to concentrate on what you are looking for and not thinking about the controls. Switching between modes, zooming in and out, focusing, and taking photos/videos is all able to be completed effortlessly. On that note, being able to preserve what you are seeing is awesome. This feature makes the unit all the more valuable for anyone using these for surveillance purposes, search and rescue, etc. Using the various nighttime sensitivity controls and zoom levels you can really dig deeply into the dark and see what's out there. In my photos I'm at the end of a lane on a pitch black country road. The house is a good 120 or more yards from where I'm standing. If you have ever wanted a good set if NVGs, but didn't want to part with a small fortune then nows your time to get these. The only knock I can think of is the provided case isn't padded.     • Amazing clarity, distance and handling!
I love these night vision binoculars! I thought they would be mediocre at best but they have exceeded my expectations by far. With 7 levels of IR intensity, these night vision binoculars are well worth the money. Easy to operate in the dark, and able to video record what you are seeing, or take snapshots! Well made, and lightweight, they are easy to carry around your neck with the included neck strap. I have owned other versions of night goggles with the crappy green night vision view, previous Military, but these are so much nicer. They have more of a gray scale IR view that works well and the range is way beyond the gen2 goggles I've owned. I can see on a dark night easily 100 yds. What really impressed me was the clarity and detail 50 yards away. There's a few areas for improvement, though. The button layout is not really easy to use when not looking at the buttons in a dark environment where it is intended to be used. It's nice that they provided a carry bag, but it's not very form-fitting and feels cheaper than the binoculars. The unit takes a large number of AA batteries. It would have been nicer to have a built-in rechargeable battery instead. Other than the few areas for improvements, this is a really nice product and a great value! ... show more

Basically a camera with an IR filter, this thing is still great for the price. You’ll never get true night vision for less than $1000, but this does the trick for casual use. It’s like one of those security cameras with night vision/IR lights for handheld use. This is great for camping, hunting, airsoft night games, or just messing around. It requires IR light to work, which is a very dim red glow from the front of the binoculars. So you won’t be completely invisible in the dark, just FYI. But the IR light is very dim to the naked eye. Just a warning: it’s not a good idea to shine the IR light into anyone’s eyes for long durations since it doesn’t trigger the blink reflex, but that light is still entering the eyes. The functions are pretty easy to figure out. The focus wheel works. Zoom works, albeit a bit slowly. Recording functions, easy to use. It is a pretty heavy unit and takes 8x AA batteries, so be aware of that. It’s a great thing to have and makes a good addition to any emergency kits. The ability to see in the dark without using a flashlight and being seen could save your life one day if aliens ever attack or the zombie apocalypse happens. You never know… ... show more
