I use these to help clean my aluminum on my rig.. it wasn't exactly designed for that.. but it works well.. the only problem i have.. is the polish for the aluminum eats the glue on the pad after a while.. as I said not thier fault.. aluminum polish has stronger chemicals in it.. not like normal polish would.. so I can't really say anything about that yet..

I run a professional detailing business and I can honestly say this is a good product. I have my staff utilize these in both drills and pneumatic angle grinders. They are great for removing swirls from the black trim on door panels, which is traditionally very difficult to remove. Additionally, these pads are very good for getting into the intricate areas of grille area and badging. Highly recommended!

Very pleased with the cut of these pads. I wasn't expecting much but they really cleaned up the sanding scratches (yellow pad) in the new 2K clear coat. I cut all the larger areas I could with a wool pad but on this trike there are some really tight areas around the tail lights and a channel between the box and fender flare that I couldn't get to. Cleared scratches from 1500 grit in those areas. I use the extensions on the rotary so I can see what I'm doing. The backing plates are good and solid and will suit my use just fine. UPDATE: Finally had the need to test the 1" microfiber pad. Used with drill attachment and Meguairs compound on isolated scratches in the clear coat. Don't over do the compound, just enough to spread lightly on the pad. Moderate pressure to start then back off on the pressure and widen the area slightly to feather out. Ready for wax. Tremendous results.

Getting your car to shine by hand is incredibly time consuming and tiring. Getting these cut the time and work considerably! My sons black Honda Civic had a ton of scratches on it, so I decided to give this a try with my battery operated drill with multiple speed levels. Let me tell you, what was usually back pain inducing work took no time at all and it came out much better than doing it by hand. The scratches buffed out really, really well and the car looked completely different..next time I'll take before and after pictures. The material of the pads seems to be very good and the different levels of stiffness, types and sizes help with the job.

Good product, but you may change the description it doesn't have m14 nut, it's bigger, but adapters can be used with drill perfectly, other than that super useful pads
