So there's nothing "wrong" with this sweater; it's cute and soft. BUT if you're a curvy gal like me, this isn't actually very flattering. I'm 5'3" 143lb with a 34D chest. The sweater fit fine over my bust, but even for a shorty like me, it was rather short waisted. Probably the least flattering is the waist ruffle. It doesn't hang nice, rather it's bulky and looks like I'm storing another layer of roll fat under there. Between my boobs and the ruffle, I looked huge. This was exactly what I wanted, a cute sweater appropriate for a holiday party. The back felt kind of sexy but not trying too hard. Waist was flattering. Could have been a little softer but certainly not uncomfortable. Would buy again for ease, cuteness and price.

All I can say is that this sweater is absolutely Gorgeous. When I first saw it I was attracted immediately. The style was perfect just what I've been looking for. It is so hard to find appealing clothes online so I read all the reviews before ordering. They were all good. I worried I wouldn't like the material or that it wouldn't fit properly...Boy was I wrong! It is true to size and the fit is like it was custom made. I love the style being belted with the ruffle. I tried it on right away and the fit was ultra perfect. The fabric is very soft and extremely comfortable. I would recommend ordering your regular size as this sweater is true to size. It is very flattering ...I tried it on with black stretch pants and it looked Great. I also could see wearing this with skinny jeans or even a skirt. You can dress it up or dress it down. I am thrilled that I ordered this sweater. It is well made and very comfortable. I would have to shop upscale stores to find this and not sure even if they would have it. My mom gave me money for Christmas and told me to splurge and buy myself something nice so I spent almost $50 on the sweater and I have tried over the last three years every which way to wear it and it just looks awful no matter what. I’ve tried it at 200 pounds and I’ve also tried it at 150 pounds and everything in between. I’m pear-shaped, so I have narrow shoulders, and I think that may be part of it but also, the fabric is extremely stiff. There’s no nice relaxed vibe with the sweater. It just sticks out all stiff and doesn’t hang right. I’ve been really mad that we wasted so much money on a sweater that I ended up hating. Because it was a gift from my mom, essentially, I never returned it and thought that I could figure out how to make it work, but I have not been able to make it work. ... show more
