Hello, my Amazon family! I have always wanted an a-line skirt like this. It is more than I expected. The shade of Navy is absolutely beautiful and depending on the lighting as well as what color you have paired with it, it either. Looks like it has a touch of warm red to it or cool greens. This pigmentation makes it versatile for pretty much any season because the coolness is wonderful for fall nightlife and winter and the little bit of warm pigmentation makes it awesome for transitional seasons, daytime parties, office attire, spring and summer! The material is absolutely butterly. It is so soft and thick that I did not want to take it off! I wore it around my studio for a couple hours going up and down the stairs, cleaning, just normal physical work stuff for my day and the material did not wrinkle. That brings me to the opening of the package. Do not be concerned when you take it out of its wrapping and hold it up. It will be horribly wrinkled. I did a little test for you because I was wondering if I brought it on a work retreat if I would need an iron. I must tell you I have no time in my day for ironing and I do not want to have any kind of anxiety. Hoping there's an iron available so I slung that thing over a banister. The next day it was almost completely wrinkle free. This just proves that the quality of the material makes it so you can travel with it. I did another experiment for us. I folded it in half smoothed it out with my forearm and then put it in a drawer. Completely wrinkle free. This material is absolutely amazing. It is thick, the stitching is of the highest quality and done very well. I must add. And pride in their workmanship and it shows on and off of your body. I was pleasantly surprised when I put on the skirt to find that there were pockets! The pockets are perfectly placed so they don't pooch out and make you look like you just gained 7 in around the hip area. So this skirt the color, fabric and style is so flattering. I am short. I am wearing a size small in NavyI: hight: 5'2 . Weight: 125 lb. It is easy for one wrong style to make me look short and stocky... Not the look I'm going for. This A-line skirt made me feel tall and slim. Almost like I am a sunflower that just got watered LOL 🌻😍 It has a zipper front with a button. The zipper is very well sewn and very high quality as well as the button. High quality as well as the button this garment is going to last a very long time with no fading, furthermore, the zipper glides smoothly and stays up and the button fits perfectly in the buttonhole. I also love the fact that it is very reasonably priced and very versatile. I keep going back to the quality of fabric. I'm so impressed with it. I played around with the styling just to see what we could get away with! This is what I found worked! Remember I've been at work playing around with this skirt cuz I could not wait to get home to try it. So at my studio I had on my sports bra and Converse... If I put on a little workout jacket I pulled off that outfit. You could also dress up just a little bit more. Go from the sporty look to a. I'm going for a walk look by putting on wax sandals or a little bit of a wedge and a tank top, some hoop earrings and some bangle bracelets. One step up; to paint on the season, a light sweater, maybe crocheted with some wedge heels or a heavy sweater with some nice cream tights and boots either flat wedged or spiked. For the workplace, some nice flats, and a blouse. Either shorts or long sleeve button up or pull over, collard or turtleneck. To go from a lunch date, to a work place for a meeting and then to a nice dinner. All you'd really have to do is change your shoes and maybe accessorize a little bit differently for the occasion. If you choose to go with the Navy skirt, it pairs beautifully with whites, light blue, all shades of Gray, pinks, reds, apricots, lavenders, and yellows. All in all, you'll have many different looks with this one skirt. So far it has been at the gym, on a walk with my dog fluffy, sitting on the floor, hanging out and in the washing machine. I would advise to hang dry. It kept its shape, there was nowhere or fuzz or anything that put a blemish on the fabric. This is one of the best buys because you get so much versatility for your money! It is priced economically for any budget but because it is so well made, it really does look like you spent a lot of money on this one item 👍. Also, it is true to size so if you take a small you take a small. The way that it is cut at the bottom, it has a front slit which is about 6 in so it's not very long, but it does forgive any height! So if you're short like me, it still looks great. If you're tall, it still looks great. This is a win win skirt!! The elastic in the back definitely detracts from otherwise elegant look but it also provides you a lot of flexibility for weight fluctuations or bloating making it much more comfortable. The color is a nice warm Brown as advertised. The fabric does wrinkle easily and isn't very soft but seems to be respectable quality. All the stitching looks good. The size chart is accurate.

First Impressions I have loved a pencil skirt for as long as I can remember. They are timeless, structured, and endlessly feminine. This one in Navy is absolutely beautiful in color, deep and rich with no milky undertone. The drape is graceful, the tea length refined, and the overall silhouette reads polished and business ready. Fit and the “Bodycon” Question Here is where things shifted for me. Seeing the word bodycon in the title made me size up, anticipating something very skin skimming. In a structured wool, that level of contour can be stunning. In a polyamide rayon blend, I prefer a touch more ease. After receiving it, I realized this is not truly bodycon. It is tailored. Elegant. Structured. By sizing up, I created my own fit issue. That is on me. Had I ordered my true size, it would have likely been spot on. In my humble opinion, this is a refined business pencil skirt rather than a clingy bodycon piece. The use of that term in the title may unintentionally mislead shoppers who are cautious about overly fitted silhouettes. Design Details The high waist is flattering and elongating, with elastic at the back for comfort. The front slit is tasteful and not overly high, though I personally would prefer a side slit for a more classic look. Two functional pockets are a genuine win, adding practicality without disrupting the line of the skirt. The absence of lining in the Navy color is noticeable to me, as I am a lining loyalist when it comes to tailored skirts. That said, the fabric feels soft and lovely against the skin. --------------------- Fabric Breakdown 54% Polyamide Provides structure and durability, helping the skirt hold its tailored shape. 41% Rayon Adds softness and drape, giving the garment fluidity and comfort. 5% Elastane Offers stretch for ease of movement and day long wearability. It reads professional while remaining breathable and smooth. --------------------- VIP Kitten Treatment Washed cold on gentle with Woolite, fluffed with no heat, and laid flat to dry. It does require steaming or a light ironing afterward to restore its crisp appearance. Once pressed, it looks polished and office ready. Final Purr This ZESICA pencil skirt is elegant, thoughtfully constructed, and beautifully colored. While it was not the right fit for me due to my sizing decision influenced by the word bodycon, it is a lovely tailored business skirt with practical details and graceful drape. I ordered this ZESICA pencil midi skirt in the color brown and in the size small. For reference, I'm 155lbs, 5'4", I normally wear a size small in tops and size 7 in pants. The small fit perfectly and comfortably I could have sized up to a medium for a looser fit as well. For the most part, the skirt looks like the images in the listing. I did notice one minor difference such as the button in the listing shows the button matches the color of the skirt but the button is actually much lighter and doesn't match the skirt at all. I did notice in some other reviews the button on the brown skirt did match so I may have received a random one that just didn't match. The skirt does include pockets and the length is just below the knee. The waist is stretchy and does include belt loops. I briefly looked over the stitching and everything looks like it was cut and stitched with quality materials The look is cute, it could be paired with a nice blouse for work or dressed down more casual.
