I was nervous about ordering a skirt online, but was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. I chose the ankle-length black skirt, read the size chart for this particular item carefully, and crossed my fingers! (Note that it seems that the different skirt styles on the page seem to have different dimensions, so look carefully at the chart for the style you choose.) The skirt is in a very soft summery material, but is not see-through. Although I usually take a S or a M, going by the chart I chose the L, and it fits smoothly over the hips (not skin-tight, which I didn't want) and is the right length; the waist is a fraction large, but not enough to make it look bad (and no problems if I eat a big lunch!!!). ... show more

This skirt is awesome! It can be casual or dressy. It's comfortable and classy. I am 5'7 and it comes to my calves. 165-lbs and ordered a large. Flattering and no hassle! What's not to love? UPDATE: I purchased the black one and I LOVE IT!!! So I bought a LEOPARD one and it is awful! Has a thich but tight band across the top and it's made from a cheap polyester-like THIN material! I’ve been searching for weeks for a specific kind of skirt and this is it! There was an indie brand that made “skirt leggings” - midi skirts made out of soft cotton jersey that casual leggings are made of. This is the closest thing I’ve found to a dupe. Because the fabric is Jersey knit, it looks and feels like t-shirt material, so personally I would wear this in a casual context not a formal one. It’s double layered, so it helps to smooth out bumps and lumps, but I still wear shapewear underneath for that perfect Morticia silhouette. I’m only 5’5 but the skirt isn’t maxi on me as in the product photos, it comes to my upper calf about 4-5 inches under my knees. This is perfect because I didn’t want the skirt to be too long. I have a 31” waist, 41” hips, 150 lbs and got a size large. It’s a perfect fit, the waistband is not too tight but not loose, either. And the fabric hugs my body but is not constricting, so it feels really comfortable. I would 100% recommend it. ... show more
