I just want to say, I’ve never made a pair of sunglasses. I don’t know the intricacies of what the welds should look like or anything that detailed. However, I’m a designer and a woodworker and I know materials pretty darn well. These sunglasses are legit. That ain’t faux wood. That’s real wood. And that isn’t brass-plated metal. I took a razor to the brass in an inconspicuous place and, as far as I can tell, it’s solid. The alignment is symmetrical everywhere. The joints are concealed and tight. The arms flex up-down/in-out. This company seems like it will either go out of business for selling a good product so cheap, or they’ll go way up in price in the coming years. From a design perspective, the only thing I would change is I’d like the lenses to contour back onto my face by like 1° more. That’s personal though. Overall these are some cool stylish sunglasses for the price. I have to dock them a star for materials. If these really are wood and metal frames, they are the most plasticy feeling metal and wood ive ever seen. While they look convincing from a distance, they feel very light and cheap. My biggest complaint with the design and materials though is probably the way the rubber nose pads attach. They flex and move more than they should where they attach to the frame. They stay on my face just fine, but they feel a little weird and gummy when im taking them on and off. The lenses are surprisingly good though in terms of clarity and color. You get that nice HDR contrast effect where colors pop a bit more and shadows are darker. No noticable distortion. And the green hue is very subtle. The big difference you'll get with these versus high end lenses is the glare and reflection on the inside of the lense. And i guess being plastic lenses without any kind of special coating, they are prone to oily smudges that are difficult to clean. They are actually a little on the larger size which is nice since a lot of these cheaper chinese made sunglasses tend to be smaller. But these fit my medium-large head really well. If anything they are just on the verge of being slightly too big for me, or for my taste anyway. ... show more

They look good. I like the lens color but just like the Ray Ban polarized green lens they might be too dark for you to even tell they're green. I think the wood sets then apart from other generic brands enough that they're worth adding to a collection even if you generally get big name brands. Lenses pop out pretty easy but if you're only wearing them for casual activities it should be fine. They pop back in easily. They're oversized as aviators generally are but if they had a slightly smaller option I would've gone with that. The silicone nose pads are very comfortable. Do you want to see streaks of random colors shooting out from everything you look at, as if you’re living in some oil-slick rainbow? Then buy these sunglasses! I’ve never been more disappointed in the visual quality of a pair of sunglasses. Absolutely terrible! THE NEXT BRAND I TRIED: After a few days of these JUNK sunglasses, I bought a pair of ShadyRays, and that was an an excellent decision. You get what you pay for to a point— there’s an equilibrium, then beyond that you’re just paying for a brand, prestige, or unnecessary features.
