This shelving unit, once installed, has been a game changer for my shower. It looks nice (I got the black version to contrast with the white tiling in my shower), it holds lots of items, and it seems very well held in place so far (I've had it up for several weeks as I write this). Before purchasing, the corners of my tub had my wife's various shampoo and cleanser bottles on them and they were constantly getting knocked off the edge by the shower curtain, etc. Now all of that stuff is organized, and the shelving even has a towel holder and hooks for razors. The two drawbacks: The installation experience leaves a little something to be desired. What I assumed would be a very quick and easy process ended up taking me about half an hour. Admittedly, some of that is due to the fact that I gave up on the included instructions on the first pass, but I did so because they are very poorly written. My advice to anyone who purchases is to push through even if the first couple of steps in the instructions confuse you. I eventually came back around to them after some frustration and they did ultimately get me there. The other knock is that the components out of the box feel kind of flimsy - thin metal tubes, very light feeling baskets - however... Once everything came together, I found that I was pretty happy with the finished install. Those flimsy pieces, surprisingly, feel pretty solid once they're all locked together. The pole is nicely firm in the corner of the shower. The baskets feel held in place even when loaded with objects and I like that they're all made of wire for maximum drainage - I've had other shower shelves before that simply had drainage holes or slits in a plastic dish type shelf and mildew is inevitable in those things - the water never drains fully. All in all, especially when taking price into account, I think this is a solid buy. I shopped in a hardware store and saw similar models that were priced three times as high. The corners of the tub in my shower are now clear of bottles, and everything is organized and tidy. ... show more

It's a bit pricier than I would normally select, but it was worth the money. Had to enlist my husband's help during the installation. It saved space and organized my shower, though. Very happy.

I got this for my apartment shower to not feel cramped with solely an over-shower-head caddy. Not only does it look great but it has held up very well over the past month. Nothing has come out of place or fallen. Assembly is simple though it is a bit tricky to put in yourself, since you have to keep tension and the bar together, so it doesn’t hurt to have someone help you but it’s not impossible to do alone. ... show more

Used this in a full size shower floor to ceiling. It was simple to assemble, very good instructions. All parts were there + I do wish it was more sturdy. Could have used a bit lager pipe diameter. But hey if your not going to be swinging on it, it's fine. Holds the weight of all our large shampoo and conditioner bottles.     • Third Time Buyer - Still satisfied!

This is the third one for my third bathroom. I've left a previous review for my second purchase (see below) and the only update is that this time the measurement table actually worked for my space. I understand all the complaints about the wedges, they aren't the greatest but I found that if you twist and pull the rod while applying opposite pressure on the basket, the wedge does eventually get snug in there to hold the basket in place. They also changed the plastic used for the tension washer to a more inflexible/brittle plastic so it was a real struggle to get it to lock into place on rod B (where the spring/spacers are). I heated it up with my hairdryer to get it to soften, then banged it a few times with a hammer to get it to click into place while it was still soft. Still overall a solid product and had it installed in under 15 minutes with the majority of the time making sure I measured the rod and placements of the baskets correctly before locking everything in with the seam tape and tension washer. Contrary to what the instructions say, if you measure the rod against your space and get that right BEFORE adding any baskets or sealing any seams with tape, or adding the tension washer, you will save yourself the unnecessary frustration of dealing with uncooperative baskets swinging all over the place while still trying to assemble the rod. Once you know the right order of rods and spacers you need, you can mark on the rod where you want your baskets to go, take apart the rod, add the baskets at your marks then assemble again, tape the seams, add the tension washer and pop it into place *Original Review below* It is exactly what I was looking for: a tension rod shower caddy. It is pretty straightforward to assemble, but as others have said, the table in the instructions that give you the assembly order to fit the space you need is wrong. It took a little bit of trial and error to find the right combination of poles and spacers to fit my space, but it really wasn't that big of a deal. It does require a little bit of foresight and attention to detail to understand why things need to be assembled in a certain order but, everything worked and I use it now to hold the costco size bottles of shampoo and conditioner and it works just fine. Quick tip #1: Before you assemble the last step of the plastic tension washer with the actual tension rod which locks everything into place, test the rod where you want it to make sure it fits. Once you are happy with the fit, then place the baskets where you want them on the pole, add the seam tape and finally insert the black plastic washer to lock in the tension rod. Once that black washer is inserted over the pole, you will not be able to remove the baskets without breaking or damaging something so it should be the last thing you do before putting it where you want it. Quick tip #2: Note that the clear plastic washers that hold the baskets are wedge-shaped so make sure you put them skinny side up so the baskets slide onto the wedges. If you are unable to slide the baskets onto them, it probably means that the washers are upside down.
