  • Tough drill, makes life so much easier
Style: 1550W/2"
Worked great for what I needed and still going. I drilled 64 holes in 3/8" carbon steel with 5/16, followed by 64 - 1/2" holes and then followed by 64 more holes with a 5/8" bit and still going. The magnet does not F around either, I'm 200lbs and can hang off of it, I'm sure thats not recommended, had to find out though ... show more

  • Great drill - better price
I ordered this to use at work in my steel shop and this is a great drill for the price!! It out drills the Metabo Mag Drill we have and the reservoir for the coolant, is a really good feature. My only 2 complaints about it is that when you shut off the magnet, the drill is still turning and fire safety reasons, it the magnet shuts off for any reason, it should trigger the drill to stop but it doesn't which is extremely dangerous. The other thing is that the on/off mechanism to use the coolant, isn't very convenient or easy to use. ... show more

  • Not bad
Style: Update 1550W/2"
The forward and reverse is switched but all in all the drill works fine. Super strong magnet and all around decent low end mag drill. The set screws loosen themselves over time so keep Allen’s handy and you will be fine. Runs annular bits pretty well

  • Very strong drill.
Style: 1550W/2" with 6 Drill Bits
Amazing drill for the price. Worked great at every possible angle. I had to do 18 back to back 11/16" holes through 5/8" steel and it didn't even blink. Handle with gloves. The bits are so sharp, one sliced through my hand just taking it out of the package. Amazon gets 1 star for delivering it though. It said next day, so I ordered it over the competitor's drill that is 1.5" shorter and they took a couple of extra days to deliver it. At 15.7" tall, it didn't fit in joist spaces, so I had to cut and patch joists that I wouldn't have needed to if it was a bit shorter. ... show more

  • Don’t buy this!!! Cheap is cheaply made
Style: Update 1550W/2"
This drill isn’t as advertised. The magnet is weak! Used it to drill 1 1/4” holes in heavy ibeam, 80% of the time the magnet wouldn’t hold firm enough an allow the bit to walk considerably when starting the cut. 1 out of 4/5 times the magnet wouldn’t hold firm hold and would allow the drill base to rise up while drilling. We weren’t forcing the bit. The last use of this drill didn’t end well as the magnet didn’t hold and the drill fell from the topside of I beam to the ground 21’ in the air. Yes we know to use the safety lanyard and do use it when in the side of a piece of steel. Anyway the magnet isn’t strong and the drill won’t survive a fall of 21’ into concrete slab. ... show more

  • 👍👍👍👍GOOD DRILL👍👍👍👍
Style: Update 1550W/2" with 11 Drill Bits
Used it to drill multiple holes in a freightliner frame. I got my moneys worth out of it on one job. If it dies the next time I use it I will buy another just like it

  • Effective magnetic base
Style: Update 1550W/2"
Efficient magnetic base. Holds very well for medium drilling without excessive downward pressure. The reverse is also a nice amenity. Have not yet used the oiler.

  • Several manufacturing quality issues.
Style: Update 1550W/2"
One of the handles had bad threads which I was able to clean up by retapping. Fortunately I have a metric tap and die set. The adapter for using the drill chuck did not fit the drill. I was able to turn it down .010 thousands and get it to fit. There’s ways you could do this without a lathe, but in my opinion you shouldn’t even have to modify these parts. The magnet seems to be a little week, when I was drilling 3/16 cold rolled steel plate using a carbide 1/2 hole cutter I had to go slower than usual to keep the magnet attached. Overall, you get what you pay for, so if you have the knowledge and equipment to improve this machine, it will work for a home shop or hobby shop, but definitely not in a production environment. ... show more
