After purchasing two previous cheaper soundbars where the first one would not work with a HDMI/ARC cable, (immediately sent it back) and the second one would not work with either the HDMI/ARC cable or even an Optical cable with my brand new Samsung QLED TV. So that one was sent back also. You can read my reviews of each one on Amazon. I was skeptical about trying a third one especially when all of the reviews were from other countries. But I wanted a soundbar that would work with the HDMI/ARC cable, so I didn't have to use two different remotes. No one in the US had reviewed this one but since it had free returns, I was willing to give it a try. However, I am VERY pleased to say that THIS soundbar worked correctly with the HDMI/ARC cable right out of the box. Plus, it has excellent sound for its size. I needed this as the speakers on the Samsung TV were down/rear firing speakers, so the volume had to be turned WAY up to even hear what people were saying. I am now in the process of designing a mount for the soundbar. Once it is completed, I will edit the review and add a photo or two. My 32-inch Samsung is mounted on a swing-down ceiling mount in the rear bedroom of our RV Motorcoach so the soundbar mount has to be custom. I am now a VERY happy camper. ... show more

This little sound bar surprised me! I will say though, don't use the fiber optic cable. Use the stereo cable... You will get twice the volume out of it.

I used the optical cable and it worked immediately with no setup required. It's easy to adjust bass and treble. Sound quality is good. It is definitely worth the money I paid. I am not an audiophile and it suits my needs. If you are looking for a high fidelity surround sound experience, go elsewhere. ... show more
