I love these ink pens! Have bought them over and over because they are smooth writing pens. No trying to get them started. I like a clip pen because I have to keep a pen on me at work (nurse), and these don't leak on your clothes . The price was right for this big batch of these great pens too!

It can be sluggish to start writing, the ink flow may be a bit temperamental sometimes, and the pen construction could use improvement. That being said, I still give the Zebra Z-Grip 4 stars mainly because less than $9 gets you 24 pens that write like much more expensive pens...and also feel like more expensive pens in the hand. I find the Z-Grip to be particularly comfortable to write with, and the ink is very smooth and vibrant for a budget pen. The metal pocket clip is also a nice touch at this price level. Like the Bic Round Stic, the Zebra Z-Grip is one of those humble workhorse pens that you'll find floating around restaurants, piled high in the supply cabinet at your office, or you may be using one to fill out paperwork at the doctor's office. However, I really like using the pen for my personal needs because it's so smooth and comfortable with boldly-colored ink. I recommend it, especially for people wanting a super-smooth pen at a super-reasonable price.

Overall, these Zebra Z-Grip pens are comfortable to hold and offer a nice grip for longer writing sessions. The ink is bold and dries quickly, which I appreciate — especially for everyday use. However, I’ve noticed that a few pens in the pack have inconsistent ink flow — they skip or take a few strokes to get going, which can be a little frustrating. Most of the pens work just fine, but the quality control could be a bit better. Still, for the price and quantity, it’s a solid deal — just be prepared that not every pen may write perfectly from the start.

I THOUGHT I LIKED GEL PENS BEST BUT THEY CAN DEPOSIT TOO MUCH INK AND SMEAR IF TOUCHED. RECENTLY I WAS GIVEEN ROLLER BALL PENS WHICH I LIKE A LOT BETTER. THEY DON'T DUMP TOO MUCH INK. AND ARE CONSISTENTLY THE RIGHT AMOUNT.
