This falls right at the perfect length, where it graces the top of your hips, so long enough to wear to work (with higher waist or mid waist jeans) but still on trend with a shorter fit. It has held up well after several washes. The material is medium thickness - so you can wear it without sweating all night, and thick enough that it does not look cheap.

First look: not good. Took it out of the vacuum sealed package and it looked, well, disappointing. Fabric looked shiny? And it had weird wrinkles and didn’t look great when I put it on. Trust the process! Please do yourself a favor and don’t decide to return before washing it first. It turns into a completely different article of clothing altogether after washing. The fabric is the type in which it will not pull easily, that was definitely important to me and why I decided to search more in 40-50$ categories. The fit is flattering (mostly). I’m not a huge fan of thick fabric, but I do still feel like it looks flattering. The arms get a little more loose after a couple of hours but still cute. Jury’s still out on whether or not the fabric is itchy or not (seems a bit itchy but not awful). All in all I think it’s mostly worth the money and I’m happy with the purchase!

The fabric is soft and is medium weight. It lays just right for a 5'1" girl. The sweater ends at my waist. Therefore it isn't too short that my belly peeks out. I bought a small and I usually wear a small. I bought cream (beige) and going to buy the black.
