I have a chicken run that I’m securing against predators. It’s recommended to dig a foot trench around them, line it with hardware cloth, then fill it back up. Digging in my soil, even after a thorough rain, was too difficult. I’ve tried a few other things, but I’m still worried about digging predators. So when I saw this item, I had to get it! It comes with some zip ties to secure together. I wouldn’t trust these zip ties - the fence sections were secured together using them, and both of those were broken upon arrival. However, I will note that once it’s in the ground, they are VERY secure and unlikely to move! I will probably use metal ties to bind them to the run itself, but I won't worry about binding them together. I was worried, with how tough my ground has been to work with, about getting these securely in the ground. I shouldn't have worried! Using a rubber mallet, they were VERY easy to secure in the ground. The metal is very, VERY solid and strong. I am pleased with how secure these will be. The openings won’t stop smaller predators, like rats, from getting in - but it should keep dogs, foxes, and other digging animals out. My one real beef with it is that I think the photos are a little misleading if you do not pay close attention to the dimensions and how it’s set up. I thought the fence sections would be bigger. Once I looked back at the pictures, I saw that they’re accurate - but the height looks taller because they’re not fully staked in the ground. I wanted to maximize the ground protection, so I have them all the way down. It’s only like 3-4 inches above ground. Again, the actual dimensions they give you are correct; just don't let the pictures fool you. Also note that one item of this comes with only about 5.5 feet of animal barrier fence. It’s very high quality, but you’ll probably need to buy several to get your fence secured.

So far this has held up well to my large Great pyrenees dogs who love to try and dig out under my chain link fence. You can install these panels very quickly and easily and they go deep into the ground to keep your animals from digging out. They are a very versatile product and have really come in handy for me in this regard.

I got this as a last ditch for an area where strays keep digging into our yard and under a flap on our deck. So far so good. Easy to install. Looks nice. Solid construction. This seems durable and will last. Good value. Hopefully, I don't need to get more.

This pack of 5 fence barrier protectors has proven to be an excellent addition to my outdoor space. These barriers are an effective solution to keep my little dog from getting under the privacy fence, ensuring his safety. In the past, I'd tried using a roll of flexible garden fencing, but it wasn't durable enough to stay in place. It started looking bent and kind of eh. Besides that, it wasn't strong enough to deal with weeding/edging and it would have to be moved out of the way and replaced - that is a huge hassle. The gaps between the ground and bottom of my wooden fence are wider in some areas than others, and cat, though on harness, can slip under this gap in a second if I'm not attentive. Just in case, I've used a section of this along that gap and it's working as I'd hoped. I'm installing the remaining stakes along an area of fence where I'm planting zinnias, to discourage digging along the fence line there. I like these enough that I plan to buy more. Installation is simple here in the sandy soil of Florida. I simply need to pound them in. I see some people say this is more difficult in areas of rocky soil. I have gardened in N.C. before, and yeah, it seems just digging a bed is difficult there. Still, at least these are study enough to handle a little pounding. Good luck to you and the critters.

Not bad. They're pretty strong, they can definitely take a beating from a heavy hammer. These went into the ground pretty easy and pretty far, I feel pretty confident that my dog won't be able to dig them out. They should last a little while, there are painted but they're outdoors in the ground, they're going to rust no matter what. I personally would have like them a little bit cheaper cuz you need a bunch of them to do your whole yard, especially if you have a dog like mine who wants you cover a spot we'll just dig in another spot. Overall okay and I do recommend

Trying out the 5 pack of the Zamsion Barrier Fence around my 18" high wooden back deck in an effort to keep raccoons out from under it. I have a gap of anywhere from 5-8" where every Winter at least 1 giant raccoon hunkers down, driving my dogs completely insane as they try to dig through the wood to go after it. Then we welcome Spring where the space under my deck hosts a bevy of baby raccoons and their mother, prompting the same reaction from the dogs. The fencing appears strong, sturdy and weatherproof! I was able to pound these sections into the ground taking my time, using a rubber mallet and so far the fencing is holding up, still standing firm 2 weeks later through below freezing temperatures and 1 snowfall. If a raccoon wrestles one out of the ground I'll update my review.
