I have this bag for baseball it’s great and fits alot of Stuff but it most definitely is not leak proof. Once the ice melts the bag leaked everywhere through the zippers and small cracks .

this thing is great!, we filled it with a variety of drinks in it, theres a small lunch box on the top and on top of the lunch box pocket theres a small personal items pocket. Really happy that I got this, we put 4 high noons, 2 la croixs, a tumbler and filled it with ice, we put a tupperware with chicken tenders in the lunch pocket, and kept my phone, wallet and chapstick in the top pocket for easy access. the best part is its a backpack so it freed my hands to hold other stuff for the beach. ... show more

I bought this as an alternate to lugging around my 55 & 28 quart hard coolers. This bag cooler is much smaller and more convenient than those when i don’t need a small refrigerator. I’ve tested this back pack cooler for ice retainability and i have to say it’s not all that impressive. The posting advertises 15 hours. In the words of Maury Povich “ that was determined to be a lie” When i fill this cooler with a cold 18 pack of Michelob and 10 pounds of ice, i get approx 6-8 hours of ice before it starts to melt. And approx 12 at best, before i have complete ice water. Once the ice starts to melt in this bag, it goes fast. The inner wall insulation is rather soft and not very dense. Which is most likely why it won’t keep ice for very long. The bag itself is rather convenient in its size and relative ability to keep stuff cool for short periods. The shoulder straps are fairly strong but i have yet to load this on my back fully loaded. I normally use the single hand cart strip. Which has handled full loads just fine. My conclusion, this is good for a day at the beach, a picnic etc but definitely do not count on this cooler as an overnight camping cooler. ... show more
