This is an amazing mirror. You might think it is pricey, but you'll change your tune once you use it. It is a large mirror with a circle of adjustable light around it. I use it at the brightest and it isn't glaring or too bright. The magnification side is so perfect; almost too perfect because you'll be able to see close up the eyebrows you failed to pluck, as well as the wrinkles you had no idea were there. I hated having to pay this much for a makeup mirror, but it is fantastic. I have had cataract surgery and was very nearsighted before and had a great deal of difficulty seeing the hair on my upper lip, chin, and eyebrows to pluck, or to use an eyebrow pencil effectively, even after the surgery. Except for this new mirror, none of the others (I've owned or sent back several over the years) enabled me to see what I needed to see. THIS ONE is a miracle. I have a full 10X on one side instead of one of those little round 10X circles you can stick with a magnet on the large mirror and they're useless...very little help at all. The clarity and brightness of the lighting is perfect. And the ability to adjust the height and nearness of the stand is great. It doesn't fall out of place as soon as you let go of it. It's hard to turn, which it needs to be to be effective, so it is also great. Thanks you, Zadro! I can see you took all of the comments you've gotten over the years and tackled them. this mirror is unbelievable! extremely solid and well constructed and heavy so it feels stable like you won't knock it over and break it. the lighting and the 10x feature is both scary and amazing. i had no idea that i could see my face like that. time to break out the nose hair trimmers. ;) my girlfriend is a hairstylist and she is OBSESSED with this new mirror and it "improving her beauty regimen." I hope I haven't lost her to this thing. ;) i was skeptical as this mirror is pretty expensive, but the quality and function make it worth every penny. i'm going to gift this item to my loved ones for xmas! ... show more

I purchased this for my daughter's birthday. Imagine the surprise when we found that it was received previously opened with power cord MISSING. Reached out to both Amazon and the manufacturer and ZERO RESPONSE from either company despite multiple requests. They were backordered so exchanging it wasn't an option. We had to order and pay for a replacement cord from the manufacturer. Nice mirror, but try something else to avoid the hassle. ... show more
