I looked some time for this mirror. 10x in bronze is extremely hard to find. The price was a bit much but it’s a one-time purchase for me as I am 69 years old and putting on my face daily. Hubby’s able to use, too, as we put it between our sinks. My first new home requires new things!

This mirror checked all the boxes as far as brightness and ease of use. It was a bit tricky to install because it was hard to fit the screws into the holes. But the big problem is it only lasted 6 months before I heard a pinging sound and the light went out. It turns out because it’s an LED, you can’t just buy a replacement bulb; the whole thing needs to be sent in for repair. I contacted Zadro and they sent an automated message saying they would reply but due to Covid delays, yadda yadda. This has all the makings of a long, arduous process that of course will involve reinstalling the light if it ever gets repaired or replaced. Meanwhile, I have no makeup mirror indefinitely and I would feel like I was being extorted if I just bought a new one. This should not be a disposable product. This one is actually a replacement for a nonlighted, less magnified makeup mirror. What a difference to be able to see that many flaws so magnified. I even catch my husband using it. Works as it should. The actual lighting isn't that bright but good enough. I really like that it doesn't take batteries, although you contend with a cord. Purchased the mirror to install in our newly renovated bathroom in April 2014. Took care with installation to ensure that one of the screws holding the mounting plate went into wall stud and used screw anchors for the others to ensure solid support for the mirror - which has kept it solidly mounted. There are 3 small screws that attach the mirror itself to the wall mounting bracket that due to their placement around the edge of the mirror base make them a bit difficult to install/remove. I inadvertently installed the mounting plate too close to a window, and the window trim make it difficult to access one of the screws and I must use a right angle screwdriver. The quality of the finish and the mirror are great and I love that it runs on batteries. I have found the longevity of the batteries to be a bit of problem as I have had to replace them once already (been using the mirror for 3 months) - both my husband and I use the mirror daily, so it may be on for up to 20 minutes daily. I was also having trouble with the batteries making good contact in the battery compartment, but was able to resolve that by just squeezing the compartment edges in tighter around the batteries. Having to remove the mirror from the wall mount to replace the batteries is the only real con of the mirror in my opinion. After posting a poor review (see below), I contacted customer support and was instructed to send my mirror back for repairs. Even-though my product was out of warranty, they sent me a brand new unit free of charge (minus my cost to send them my defective one). I think the company realizes that at least the earlier models have issues and are trying to remedy the problem. Upgraded my rating from a one to a four. We'll have to see how long this particular mirror's light stays lit this time. Purchased this last summer and the LED lights worked for about 6 months, I think there is a reason the warranty only lasts for 3 months... Overall my wife liked the duel magnification and the looks. If searching for a magnification mirror with lights, this may not be a good choice. Others complained of the short life span of the LED bulbs and now I must join that crowd. If you want to save money, just go with a non lit version for about 1/2 the price! If you purchase this product expect the lights to fail shortly after the warranty expires!!! Disappointed in the company in general for selling defective merchandise and the product specifically for being short lived. ... show more

Very happy with this mirror. Installation is a little awkward but we got it done. Not super excited about having to take it off the wall to replace the batteries but I feel like there could be worse things to worry about. The light is bright, magnifying mirror works great too. Easy to install. Love that it is battery so you don’t have an obtrusive, ugly cord hanging. A very bright light with a strong magnifying mirror (which I do not recommend using because you may not like what you see 🤓). It is very sturdy and looks great in our master bathroom.
