When I first received this quilt and took it from the package, I thought it was awfully thin. I knew it was going to be lightweight from description and other reviews so I decided I would keep it. I machine washed it and dried it as I always do when getting new bedding. It actually seems like it puffed up more and is very nice. I think it appeared so thin due to the vacuum packing. It washed and dried beautifully. I ordered a king size because it will be used on both a king and queen size bed. I tried it on the king and it fits well as a quilt should. It doesn't hang to the floor, but a true quilt will not do that. Those that do are bedspreads. Of course it will hang down longer on the queen bed which is fine also. The quilt is beautiful. It is a true pieced quilt not a printed fabric. The fabric pieces which make up the quilt are large, but stunning. I am pleased with the look. The back and border is a very deep hunter green. Even so, I didn't see that the green faded or ran onto the lighter colors. Though it is reversible, the one I received has quite a few hanging white threads on the back which would need to be trimmed to use it on the flip side. I think I could make it work if I really wanted to use it that way, but the front side is so nice, I doubt I would do that anyway. The pillow shams are huge; truly king size. I do love the quilt. It was a good purchase for me.

Quilt is of high quality and the stitching is great. The stitching is not thy fishing wire type like some quilts and it is stitched closely so it will not be unraveling.

This quilt is beautiful — antique & cozy looking. Not too heavy to cover up with along with a thin blanket underneath. I love that I don’t have to remove it when I sleep like some of the heavier quilts. Great purchase.

I unfortunately ordered it larger than the bed . I wanted to have it drape to the ground . I got the California king size for a queen size . Needless to say it was to big . I should have ordered a king and not California king. Just make sure you measure how wide you want and where you wish it to hang down on sides of bed.

Gorgeous design, beautiful colors and the perfect light-medium weight for summer and swing seasons. It is also reversible and equally attractive on the other side.
