From my perspective, the quality of this product vastly overrides the expense. It is the very first primer I've used that actually does what it claims to do -- it creates a smooth, clear, soft base upon which to apply makeup and for reasons that, frankly, totally escape me, makeup applied over Touche Eclat stays put the entire day. I love this stuff. Also: it's preferable to apply very little of the primer -- I mean VERY little -- so the product lasts and lasts, which makes the price much more acceptable. I have only purchased the "travel size" container and in the past 7 months have yet to work my way through it. An extra bonus with this product is the teeny, tiny gold flecks in it -- very, very subtle -- no sense of wearing a makeup product intended for 20-year-olds on a 50-year-old face -- but they do delicately brighten the look of the makeup. ... show more

Doesn't work well as a primer at all. Probably the worst I have bought. Your makeup just sits on top and doesn't help you blend. Lines were definitely not blurred at all.

I absolutely love this product! Was introduced to it through the monthly Beauty Box program from Amazon. Wish I had known about this product years ago. It leaves your skin feeling so soft and amazingly smooth. Works better than any thing I have ever used as a primer or lotion. There really is no comparison to other primers I have used in the past. It is that amazing. I am certian I will be purchasing this product many times over for years to come. It really is worth the price. Although it seems a bit pricey it is well worth it. You will know what I mean when you use this yourself. It really is that good! Just absolutely love this and use with or without makeup every day now. Love the way it makes my skin look and feel and how easy it is to get and even application of other products on after using. Will definitely purchase again and again. ... show more
