The instructions state that it may remove paint if you remove it. That being said, this stuff is REALLY sticky. It is unlike other double-sided tapes I've used. I do like the fact that it is clear rather than a solid color (like white). I did a test of sticking a measuring tape to a cabinet. After a while, I tried pulling it off. I thought I had pulled some of the "sticky" stuff. I then realized that the tape pulled a clear sheet of clear plastic from the tape measure. I had never known it was there. So this was a battle of two sticky things, and the two-sided tape was the winner. If you decide you want to remove something you stuck to, say, a desk, the tape will remain on one of the two surfaces -- the desk or the item you stuck on. Then you'll need to pull the tape off the surface of the item, or the desk. That's when you'll find out how stretchy the tape is. When you pull it off, it will fight you, and stretch out a significant distance. Once free from the sticker and the stickee, it will contract to it's original size. I then cut the tape into a smaller size and stuck it on again.

I wanted some double sided tape, mostly for temporarily holding down 3d printed parts while I sand them, but also for some mounting and general purpose use. I like the idea of nano tape; it doesn't use conventional adhesives, but is inspired by the same principle of adhesion that geckos use to adhere to surfaces, using carbon nanotubes. This tape arrived promptly, packaged in about 4 layers of plastic. There are two widths included, and each comes sandwiched between two pieces of plastic; probably to keep the gel from drying out. The tape is quite thick, and it's got a stretchy, gummy base. It stuck quite firmly to both wood and plastic; perfect for stabilizing pieces while I sand and work on them. It's also easy enough to remove once I'm done - about the perfect amount of adhesion for my purposes. Is this truly nano tape? I wasn't sure when I ordered it (I don't think the name is trademarked or licensed), but after working with it for a while I think it is. There is absolutely no residue left behind after the tape is removed, which is terrific. So while I don't have a scanning electron microscope to verify that it's using nanotubes, the fact that it doesn't leave behind any adhesive leads me to believe it is what it says it is.. Anyway, it's really good double sided tape; I can't say how long it holds, since my main use for it is temporary, but it's really good for my purposes.

It comes with two large rolls of double-sided tape. One is about twice the thickness of the other which gives you some options if you're looking to stick something large or just a smaller object. The tape itself is clear which is good because you can use it in areas that might otherwise be noticeable if it was colored. There's no good way to tear the tape so you do have to use scissors to cut it to the desired length. The only minor negative is that the sides of the tape are also sticky so dirt and other random stuff can get stuck to the actual tape roll if you don't keep the protective plastic on it while using it. Just a minor nitpick but I'm not sure why they chose to keep the side sticky like that.

This is a great deal for two different sized rolls of Heavy Duty Double Sided Tape. I have many uses for this around the house where I don't necessarily want or need to put holes in walls. I've used it most recently on the underside of my desk to apply a cable management tray. The adhesive is strong and it is removable if needed. You may want to try it on a painted surface first. The adhesive can and will pull paint if removed too quickly. I haven't had this peel any paint (yet) but again, when I had to remove it, I took my time. I like using this tape to temporarily mount something in place before I start using nails and screws. If I'm happy with where the object is, then I'll remove it and use hardware - mainly for heavier items. For posters and small pictures, the tape holds just fine.

This is getting a four star rating because the packing is absolutely HORRIBLE. I wish it came in a reusable zip bag or something. It’s just wrapped with several layers of plastic and then you take the plastic off and you’re left with the tape and the box it came in (which isn’t resealable). Really wish they had better packaging than that. But it sticks great and works well! I love that one size is smaller than the other because I need to use both sizes in my profession (press on nail artist).

Good quality tape. I got this to tape a rubber cord cover down to laminate flooring and it's holding great. Only complaint is that I wish it came in a case or dispenser, you have to be careful where you store it because the edges of the roll are sticky.

This two-pack of clear double-stick tape was a pleasant surprise. It is quite strong, has very good adhesion, and is crystal clear. The two widths and generous length make it an excellent value. It has performed well and exceeded expectations in every case. It has not left any damage on painted walls, and has even worked perfectly in securing a silicone water barrier in a walk-in shower.
