Worked for what I needed. Guy I bought an xj off of had his blown up diff serviced and the guy put the factory carrier back in with 4.88 gears. Dana 30 Carrier is exactly as described with 0 run out. It was priced fairly and arrived quickly. Necessary if you plan to install gears numerically higher than 3.73 in a jeep that came with 3.55 or numerically lower gears stock.

Fits but you have to dremel the center pin hole the slightest bit have had it for 6 months now tho and it’s fine

This carrier allows for regearing on a DANA 30 front differential if you are exceeding the case break greater than 3.73:1 gears. Differential ended getting set up without issues thanks to this carrier.
