If you buy this you need to put new jets in it if this is going on a 212. Also, to get to the jets you need to take off the float bowl and the screws felt like they were welded to the float bowl had to grind them and loosen them with a hammer and grinder. And also really hard to tune.

Did a lot of looking and for the price of this, you can't beat it. Replaced the stock carb on a 212 predator with this and it runs like a dream. You do have to set the air/fuel mix, adjust the float brackets if needed (mine did). Possibly change your needle position but that's standard I would think just to inspect everything for proper operation. The damage in the pic did not come that way. No more that 5 mins after I had it put together, I had it at idle and it fell over onto the air filter as I was grabbing the adjustment wrench. It's still fully functional and will order a different filter for aesthetic purposes

Definitely added some vroom vroom to my GX160. For the price, this kit is great. The carb performs well. I have the Honda engine on my mini bike. Definitely adds some pep but more importantly it adds customization and appearance. It’s nice to be able to easily change the jetting. It’s also nice to get rid of all the throttle linkage and governor linkage (do that at your own risk). I also test fit this on my Coleman CT200 Hisun engine. Works great with that too. If you have an old carb and want some added performance I highly recommend this set up. The choke works good. It stays in place until your ready to rev it up. I’ve read complaints that the top doesn’t screw on well, I didn’t have that issue. If you don’t want to buy a real Mikuni but you want some control over your carb set up-give this a try. Great for a budget build.
