I do a lot of sailing and hunting/fishing on a smaller motor boat and this anchor rode is very good for my smaller motor boat for both the bow and stern anchor systems I’ve put in place. The line doesn’t kink, the weave ensures proper hold, I like the bow anchor having 150’ so I can 3:1 scope in 50’ of water while fishing with 100’ on the stern. In light or no wind I’d be able to 2:1 in 75’ easily. All around good anchor rode. The stainless steel anchor ring is also sturdy for your chain. I like that it’s black for concealment while duck hunting. No complaints from me and I doubt from you if you buy it, for the price this is solid anchor rode. ... show more

I bought this for my Corsair f24. I’m sad to report that it started fraying almost immediately. My anchorage was a mudflat, but the line must have touched something because it’s fraying in multiple places.

    • Shackle is a bit small but still functional.

It's nice that it comes with the shackle on the end but it's a bit small to really fit over most anchors. Be nice if it was offered with some a bit larger and with some sort of cotter/locking pin to keep it from backing out. I was able to make it work with one of my anchors but I also safety wired it to prevent from backing out and losing my anchor. ... show more

This is much thinner than my old rope and that I was expecting. I am a little disappointed in how much water it absorbs and how wet it stays since I was actually looking for a rope that we did a better job repelling water But other than that it’s just a rope and it is strong enough to do the job with your anchor ... show more
