I bought 6 for overflow seating at my Crate and Barrel bar height island which is in a spare room that’s carpeted. Super easy to put together, decent quality and nice style. But use caution if using them on a carpeted floor. Wish the base was wider because it’s easily turned over. The seats could be wider, too. I’ve had these barstools for a few months now and I really love them. The quality is great, they are sturdy, easily adjustable, and comfortable for eating a meal or doing some work at the kitchen island. The backs are not very high, so if I’m sitting for longer periods it’s not a ton of back support, but there is enough room that you can comfortably add a cushion at the low back for more support.
