OLD REVIEW: Purchased these May 2018, and kept replacing my dome light bulb till they ran out. 4 bulbs lasted less than 8 months, so each bulb lasted about about 2 months. The previous OEM halogen bulb lasted 7 years, and I thought I'd be cool and "upgrade". The bulb has been loose and bouncing around in my center console for the last 8 months, just put it back in--it still works. These LEDs = waste of money. UPDATE 4/26/19: WORST ITEM I HAVE EVER PURCHASED ON AMAZON. Sure, they'll send you some more bulbs free under warranty, but those bulbs will be junk too. I've had it with these, I've now had 8 bulbs go out in just under a year. It's not worth the time and aggravation. If i could give 0 stars I would. ... show more

LEDs are becoming a generic commodity. Among reputable sellers I think there is very little difference. These LEDs look well made. The heat sink on the back of the LEDs is impressive. Only time will tell how long they last. If you want a *really* bright LED these are great. I'll have to see if I like the map/reading light being so bright. The other slight issue is dimming. There is no real dimming, it a two step dim, then off. The previous incandescent bulbs have an elegant way of slowing dimming. Again, this is personal preference. My biggest issue was with the seller, although I'm not sure how much they had to do with it. I bought a set which I got tracking info which suddenly stopped. I never received those bulbs. No problem got a credit from Amazon. I reordered another set and again, shipping got delayed a day. Seems an odd coincidence. ... show more

One of my interior lights burnt out, so I wanted to replace them all with LED's. I went to my local auto store to ask about which ones and stuff, and the guy behind the counter starting telling me what a pain LED's were and how they can burn out your light sockets, and how you can't have all three lights on at the same time, etc.! He totally had me nervous. So, I started researching and then went on Amazon. These lights arrived quick, were nicely priced compared to in-stores, and were so easy to install. So far so good, I have had them for several months and they are way brighter (see 2nd photo) than the crap stock (see 1st photo) bulbs in the 2019 RAV 4. They come with a little plastic tool that broke on the first use so I would avoid it all together (I didnt buy the bulbs for the tool anyway) and opt for a small flat head screwdriver or a coin. The only real issue I had was (see last 2 photos) the stock bulb (end caps) is slightly narrower then these, you'll notice the new bulb is pretty fat on the metal contact ends compared to factory. That said, it was a VERY tight fit and a little bit of a struggle to make them fit, BUT they did ultimately fit and I Love them... Pros: Priced Fair SUPER BRIGHT vs. Stock they make an added effort to add a tool Cons: the included tool - isn't very helpful it may take a little work to make them fit (my 2019 RAV4 anyway!?) I put these in my 2018 Subaru WXR Limited and they are awesome. The stock map and dome lights are very weak and yellowish. These light up the car perfectly. They are slightly longer than the stock bulbs, so you have to bend the metal tabs back to get these installed. It's no big deal at all. If you replace the stock bulbs you will say OMG the first time you see them light up your car when it's dark. I also love the fact tat they are daylight balanced in color. I replaced the 2 map lights and the one dome light with this kit, leaving me one spare bulb. ... show more

I had already replaced the map lights in my 2008 Honda CRV with white LED bulbs (from another source) over a year ago. Since I was happy with them, when the overhead convenience light (over the back seat) and the cargo light needed new bulbs I decided to get white LED replacement bulbs for them as well. I ordered the 6-LED bulbs (6-SMD 5730) from seller "Yorkim" on 7/18/16 . (I believe these type festoon bulbs are available with as few as 4 LEDs and up to as many as 24 LEDs. The more LEDs the brighter the bulbs are, but they are also larger/wider and cost more. I wanted to be sure they would fit width-wise, so I ordered the 6-LED versions.) They were delivered in undamaged condition on 7/22/16 (Amazon Prime shipping). They fit both receptacles (overhead convenience light and cargo light) and inserted into place without difficulty. They have been working well and without any issues thus far. It's far too soon to know about reliability/longevity, however. (I do not use my car often, usually no more than once or twice per week, so I would expect these bulbs to last far longer for me than for a typical driver who uses their car on a daily basis.) These bulbs provide a cool, bluish-white light rather than a warm, yellowish-white light. I happen to prefer cooler white; you may not. As for brightness, that is rather subjective. The 6-LED bulbs are sufficiently bright for my needs. If you require "blazing sun"-bright lighting you might want to consider 12- or even 24-LED bulbs. Just be sure your receptacles can accommodate their wider widths. ... show more
