Even though this device has a USB C port, it will not charge with an industry standard USB C cable. It requires that you use the included "proprietary USB C cable". One of the primary reasons I bought this device was because it had a USB C port and when traveling I always have many USB C chargers with me. Pros: Rain is a nice addition to Hushh sound set. Cons: Larger and heavier than it looks, and I can’t think of any reason why. It doesn’t really do much for its size and weight. A few sounds, one tune. Battery does not last as long as it should either. Controls are invisible in the dark and not laid out such that you can easily learn where they are without looking. Oddly, the USB-C port is a little too deep, preventing some USB-C cables, notably Apple’s, from going all the way in. Hand strap is less flexible than the circular clip on the Hushh, in terms of where you can hang it. ... show more

This review is about the "Go" version which was just recently released. It's small, smaller than the palm of my hand and far smaller, but not thinner than my iPhone. It fits in my travel bag without too much trouble so I will bring it when I travel. I was able to get 10 hours overnight in noisy NYC in times square to block out the street noise. It worked all night and has battery to keep going. I wont test the battery for more than one night as all I will ever need is for the device to make it overnight. I used the sound that was the closest to white noise at very high, not max, volume. It's a bit different sound than my Dohm at home but it puts me to sleep without the TV and turns off my brain. Bought this by recommendation from a professional baby sleep trainer. It says on all night and is small and holds a charge if needed (but I leave it plugged in). I like that it has multiple sounds/tones including ocean, rain and babbling brook in addition to white noise. Been using it for a few months now and it's great. Keeps the noise from the house and older kids from waking the baby. It puts me to sleep too! Update one year later: the sound machine stopped working approximately one year after purchase. It has gotten a lot of use...every night for a year plus nap times and sometimes we forgot to turn it off. I reduced my rating by one star for the short life span. ... show more

Bought this to replace a travel mini - my last component still using mini USB. Beware: this unit won't charge from a standard Anker USB-C to USB-C cable. I've tried two different Anker cables. Only plugged into a Ravpower two port USB-C charger that I travel with for phones and computers. Also won't charge from USB-C wall outlet. It will charge from the included USB-A > USB-C cable but that defeats the purpose for me just traveling with USB-C cables for headphones, computer, etc. Not sure what the issue might be. ... show more

I so wish I had made this purchase a looong time ago. I have two of the original Marpac Dohms in my home, which I absolutely love, but are too large and bulky for travel. And while I have been using a white noise app on my phone until now, I didn't quite realize how inferior the white noise app was until my GO arrived in the mail over the weekend. Great product! Only piece of feedback would be to include a USB wall charger, too, b/c having a spare USB wall charger can be somewhat precarious at times. ... show more

I bought this to replace a similar device that stopped working and even though I’ve only had this one for a few days I love it. I have tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and I can’t stand complete silence. When a room is too quiet the ringing in your ears can drive you insane, especially when trying to get to sleep so a device like this is a necessity for me. I love that it’s small and doesn’t take up a lot of room on a crowded nightstand. I love that it doesn’t require any confusing setup, just plug it in and turn it on. Great sound selection. We want to use this for travel, so we needed something small. I posted a question asking about the correct item size because there are conflicting measurements in the description. Unfortunately, I then received different dimensions in responses. I just received the actual item and precisely measured it. Here are the dimensions: when it is closed, it measures 4-1/8" x 2-1/8" x 1-5/16". when it is fully open, it measures 7-1/4" x 2-1/8" x 1-5/16".
