I think that this compares to anything I'd find at the sporting goods stores and at a better price. It works just fine and doesn't what it is supposed to. The wrap straps are an added bonus.

Used this rope on a 2 person towable for the first time for 3 hours. When I went to disconnect from the boat both carabiners were bent enough that they would not clip. I can’t imagine what would have happened if one broke off.
