Honestly am considering getting another for other parts of my house since I like it so much. I was surprised by how small the package was and was a little worried it would take a while to fully flatten out and take its normal shape but it took less than an hour for it to look like it was never folded up and vacuum sealed at all. The rug is very pretty and soft. That being said, it is extremely thin. It reminds me of a large bath mat. (Possibly a little thinner) What I did to make it work, was to just put on top of the 5x7 area rug I was replacing. With that, it stayed in place and didn't move around. As soon as I opened it up and laid on the floor, my 4 yr old kept touching and saying it is so soft and was sleeping all over it. The size is very large. It seems bigger than other rugs I have bought that say they are this size. It is not a rug you would lay around on because it is not thick. It does slide on the floors easily. This rug is super soft, it's been down a month and has remained soft even after vacuuming. It stays in place. It feels amazing on your feet. Color is beautiful! My daughter drop some kinetic sand in it and it came right out. They have the best price for these types of rugs! Will buy again.
