As other reviews have noted, this rug is super soft and fluffy — more like a pet mat than a regular carpet. My cat loves this. I needed a rug for insulation under my chair by my desk. The floor is really cold in the winter and my legs get cold, so I bought this rug for layer of insulation under the chair. It is perfectly suitable for this purpose. Some reviews say that these rugs are slippery to walk on — maybe so, but I won’t be walking across this rug, so that’s not a concern here. I just want it to stop the draft coming through the floorboards. Packaging: I was pleasantly surprised at how compact and lightweight this rug is, in the vacuum-packed wrapping. I wanted a rug that would be easy for me to carry up two flights of stairs, and this rug comes packed so small and lightweight, very easy to carry. It’s amazing how big it expands when it comes out of the vacuum-pack. Keep in mind this is not heavy-duty carpet material. If you want a super-soft rug that would be great as a floor covering and comfortable for toddlers and pets, you will be very happy with this, especially for the price, it’s a great value. I recently bought the Andecor Bedroom Rug (4 x 6 feet) for my son's dorm room, and it has worked out perfectly. The rug is soft and plush and make his dorm feel more cozy versus the cold floors and walls that are standard in the dorms. The size is perfect for covering a good portion of the floor, and it gives the room some style. This rug has been a great choice for our toddler’s bedroom! It is very soft, and so far has not shed at all, which I was worried about for such a fluffy and inexpensive rug. Very impressed with the quality given how affordable it was. We have not had any issues with it slipping or sliding around the room, and it has been easy to move when we need to rearrange. This came folded like a blanket and vacuum packed very tightly. You'd never know it was a carpet. I cut the to of the bag and watched it slowly puff up which was very satisfying LoL. It's very soft like so the other reviews say and underneath has some non skid dots, we'll see if they end up working. I just put it down so it's still crease but I'm sure that will flatten out. It's very thin but asking a cushion would probably not work. I'm ok with the thinness. I might but another to put on the couch, I think it would totally work! I’ve struggled with how I should rate this product. There are things about it that I love. I’ll begin by stating that it’s not technically a rug. It’s a mat. It’s synthetic fur attached to a foam mat like one of those bath mats, only much larger. I like that because It’s very light weight and super soft like rabbit fur. However, it’s an example of something that on the surface seems like a good idea, but was clearly not thought through. It’s very slick. Equivalent to walking on oil on a smooth surface. I would NOT walk across this carrying a baby nor would I let someone elderly walk across it. I slipped just in my bare feet. It is even more slippy in sock feet. I wanted something my toddler grandchild could sit and play on. It will serve this purpose as long as he doesn’t fall and hurt himself. The sale price was fantastic and I do really like it even though it’s truly not safe. Keeping it. Just beware and know that it may not be what you are expecting. ... show more

I purchased this rug for our home office turned virtual learning classroom so that my fourth grader had a comfy spot to curl up with a book during reading time or simply expel some energy between assignments (he has adhd). He loves this rug and so do I!! I do have a few thoughts to share- I ordered the grey and it is more of a bluish grey, though this works perfect for my needs!! This huge rug arrived in the smallest box which had me immediately thinking I’d made a mistake and ordered a bath mat! In fact, it was vacuum sealed and wrapped in plastic and I was shocked at how such a large rug could fit in a tiny box. This is NOT a super thick, plush carpet, but it does have a thin memory foam backing so it has some squish to it. The rug itself could not be softer. As for those reviews complaining that it is not a thick rug, I’d just like to suggest visiting some stores (even outlets) to get an idea of what a super high quality, thick rug costs. They are outrageous. This carpet is beyond comfortable for it’s price point!! I would definitely recommend and will be purchasing another for my son’s room! ... show more
