Waited to reply since we had already already shorter shelf and wanted to see if that had issues as well. Review of shorter unit: Shorter shelf had only some minor scratches on interior of one piece but otherwise great condition. Like taller units piece were easy to assemble - holes lined up as expected, and no missing parts or pieces. Only difference between short and tall unit was the short unit did not have adjustable feet and the brackets those fit in, also some screws that were silver on taller set were black on the shorter set. Neither are visible from outside. Black screws were harder metal and by the end the provided screwdriver was getting stripped so switch to one of ours. They included Phillips head for use in assembling in all three packages. Orig review of two taller units: Bought two for our garage and unfortunately both had consistently places dents makes it seem these defects came from manufacturer, no damage to the paint and the same location and placement of dents it appears these were not accidental but maybe from manufacturing and before paint/packaging - dents were on one of the back pieces which is not a big deal. Additional dents on both right hand doors with locks had dents that make it that are highly visible and make it so the door does not stay closed unless locked and you need to press either top or bottom of the door when locking. Works for its purpose but since it’s so carefully packed and others have said seller requires you to ship back at your expense would not buy from them again. Since again these defects not visible from exterior of packaging and only after unpackaging the whole box (no easy way to get item back in orig packaging which they require for return) Locks on doors are different so the keys from one will big work on the other. A bit tedious to assemble but at least all the screws and holes lined up and no missing parts/pieces which is not the case with all prefab items. ... show more

I bought 2 of these, one came perfect and was fast to put together. I bought M8x30mm 4" wheels and they fit perfectly. It is nice quality and seems pretty sturdy. Unfortunately, 1 came with some dents and damaged parts. I was going to return it and buy another when I received a message from the seller that they could just send me another (it's close to 90 lbs, so I think they didn't want to pay for return shipping and then send another). I got the replacement 5 days later through Fedex (did I mention I hate Fedex). It arrived with a serious dent and gash in the box. One of the two door key sets was missing. I opened it and again a couple of panels were dented. I wanted to work with them (at this point I blame fedex), so they asked if I can try and piece the two sets together. Well, I was able to make a complete cabinet (with a small dent in the side). I had to carefully bend one dented section so the slots would fit but with patience, it wasn't that difficult. They refunded a third the cost for the inconvenience. Overall, I am satisfied. Their support was very polite and fast to respond (usually within 1 business day). They were willing to work with me. I just wanted to make sure I had a matching second cabinet to match the first and that's what I got. I would use them again. ... show more

Firstly, understand that this is written by someone who absolutely hates putting together furniture. I am not good at it and it makes me extremely frustrated. It took me 2 hours to put together the first one, and closer to 1 hour to put the second one together by myself. I was able to manage it, and I love the end result! I needed more room for toy storage. Two of these fit all the toys we own, with extra space. I used the 6 quart and the 12 quart sized plastic containers to organize. One of the reasons I bought these cabinets is because they come with locks on them. I have multiple children in the stage where they will dump everything in sight. With the lockable cabinets, I am able to give them access to just a couple bins at a time, and that way they can't go crazy and make my house a disaster when turn for a second. The lock is good enough to keep the kids out, but if an adult wanted to get in, I'm sure they could manage it. I do wish there was an option to buy extra shelves. However, the shelves are very adjustable to pretty much any height. I did receive these with a couple of very small dents in them, but it's not enough that I care. If these are going to be around kids all, you definitely need to use the wall anchors with it. ... show more
