It’s not top tier by any means, but it’s a very nice and well built desk if you put it together right. I was missing a few screws but it’s not a serious issue as I got more from my local hardware store. The surface feels very good and I like the look of it in my room. Cable management is a bit of an issue unless you order an extra part to hide the cables. Absolutely fantastic desk. This thing is big, gorgeous, and sturdy. Took about 4 hours to build by myself (with multiple distractions). Simple to build with good instructions. I love that the top drawer locks. I didn't receive one broken or missing part, and it came 8 days early! The picture is it assembled straight out of the box. No windex or pledge or anything, that's the stock finish. I have 2 27" monitors on the shelf and they fit perfectly. The only small issue is the LEDs. I don't have a problem with them sticking, but then again it's only been 2 hours. I think people may be peeling the entire double-sided tape off of the glue on the lights instead of peeling the double-sided tape. There's a very thin blue cover on the tape you need to peel off. My issue is the color. I was expecting the white to be 3000k warm white light. It's not even close. Not even a 6000k white. It is blue. Like in the stock photo. But that being said, that is not even remotely close to a reason to ding this desk. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Take your time, build it correctly, and you'll absolutely love it. ... show more

Got this for my boyfriend who desperately needed more desk space but also needed to fit our fairly small office along with my desk. The fact that this set up for this was so diverse is what really sold me. It allowed us to decide to have a couple of options for the shape that would work best. In the end we stuck with the U shape and so far it's great! It did take about 2 hours to put together just one person doing it. The assembly was easy and instructions were straight forward. The light strip looks really cool and has a remote for color change options. The strip doesn't really want to stick in one spot so we will need to do some extra taping. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this desk for anyone who might need more surface area but still has a small space. ... show more

Such a great deal! The gold looks a little green, not very shiny gold if that makes sense. But the boards were nice, no cracks or splitting. Assembly is not terrible if you are somewhat mechanical. A power screw driver is a must for assembly, but you could do it without it. Pay attention to the right / left of the legs of the desk. Instructions are not super clear on the swings so it’s easy to assemble the wrong way. Just think as you layout the pieces where you want the drawers and the tower shelf. We did not use the monitor shelf but everything worked out well. The space inside the “U” is plenty for a good size office chair. Purchased the grey one and it’s a great color. The fit and finish is not super tight but for the price it looks fine. Overall, very pleased with this desk. ... show more
