After reading a variety of reviews( most bad) i took a chance and I love it. All parts available, they are also clearly marked making assembly go much faster. It's the perfect hight for me making if comfortable and it's not so wide i can't reach stuff. I got the brown wood look and looks fabulous. I found the delivery box was very damaged when delivered however I didn't find any damaged parts. I feel like this desk is a good sturdy and beautiful. So the value is great. ... show more

    • Not Bad for a cheap desk...
This thing really isnt bad.... general complaints with modern furniture are cheap particle wood with common/standard cheap finish that doesnt stand the test of time and the only thing i dont really like is the location of the plug makes it so im scared to set my coffee on the left side for gaming sessions but otherwise it fits the space needed in my new apartment and its not my forever desk but itll do everything i need it to for the foreseeable future... the lock is cheappppppp and the key doesnt always fit all the way in, and when it get stuck like that i can still turn it so its not really secure assembly was easy, i used a cordless drill for the screws on low setting and had no problems... it took me about an hour and a half to setup everything lined up and fit perfectly and i had zero issues, and i have it setup in a big L shape with a PC, 65 inch tv, second monitor and printer on the shelf at the end and it doesnt rock at all and seems stable. i might put a coat of poly on it to protect the top from spills and wear and tear as i think the brown looks realllllllly nice i just know its going to swell or scratch easy ... show more

Absolutely fantastic desk. This thing is big, gorgeous, and sturdy. Took about 4 hours to build by myself (with multiple distractions). Simple to build with good instructions. I love that the top drawer locks. I didn't receive one broken or missing part, and it came 8 days early! The picture is it assembled straight out of the box. No windex or pledge or anything, that's the stock finish. I have 2 27" monitors on the shelf and they fit perfectly. The only small issue is the LEDs. I don't have a problem with them sticking, but then again it's only been 2 hours. I think people may be peeling the entire double-sided tape off of the glue on the lights instead of peeling the double-sided tape. There's a very thin blue cover on the tape you need to peel off. My issue is the color. I was expecting the white to be 3000k warm white light. It's not even close. Not even a 6000k white. It is blue. Like in the stock photo. But that being said, that is not even remotely close to a reason to ding this desk. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Take your time, build it correctly, and you'll absolutely love it. ... show more

Got this for my boyfriend who desperately needed more desk space but also needed to fit our fairly small office along with my desk. The fact that this set up for this was so diverse is what really sold me. It allowed us to decide to have a couple of options for the shape that would work best. In the end we stuck with the U shape and so far it's great! It did take about 2 hours to put together just one person doing it. The assembly was easy and instructions were straight forward. The light strip looks really cool and has a remote for color change options. The strip doesn't really want to stick in one spot so we will need to do some extra taping. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this desk for anyone who might need more surface area but still has a small space. ... show more

Such a great deal! The gold looks a little green, not very shiny gold if that makes sense. But the boards were nice, no cracks or splitting. I didn't have high expectations for this desk when I ordered it. However, after setting it up in our loft, it looked so good. It fit in the space perfectly and we ordered the white and gold and it just matched the style of our loft. It looks like we spent more than we did on it. The style is modern, the set up was simple, it fits three monitors, a computer, a label maker, and printer all the on the top. It has options for rearrangement and the quality is surprisingly great.
