This is a great, compact little mug press. You can actually do 15 ounce mugs, but they do have to be the taller ones, not the wide ones. You also have to flip the mug upside down to make sure that the top portion gets sublimated as well.

I am new to sublimation and transferring images to mugs. This device appears to be everything I need (except for printer) for a beginner like me. Everything works as described. Heats up quickly.     • Works perfect for my 15oz coffee mugs!!

I was really worried that my 15oz coffee mugs wouldn't fit in this. They do fit but it's a rather snug fit. I don't know how close to the handle I could actually do a print because I haven't tested that, but I did learn something about doing the 15oz and the image size from top to bottom that might help others. When seated in the press a 15oz coffee cup comes right up to the edge of where the heat element is inside. Because of this the top edge didn't want to fully sublimate. What I did however was I flipped the mug bottom up and sublimated it and the top edge turned out perfect. This may not work if your coffee mug is straight down to a flat bottom edge, but mine has a bit of a curve at the bottom so the curve sits below the top of the heat element and that's why this worked for me. The image came out absolutely perfect. Not going to lie...I couldn't find my instructions on how to set the temp and time so I did the mug in the photo at whatever the preset is. If I had done the first press when the mug flipped upside down it would have been perfect with just the one press at whatever the factory setting is. I love this little press!! ... show more

I dislike the product because it doesn’t even sub 15oz mugs, they can’t even fit the machine.

I'm not sure paying double for the popular brand buys you much of anything at all. This inexpensive mug press does a great job with mugs up to 15oz (they are a tight fit). Simple instructions, push button operation, really all you need for mug dye sub heat pressing. Recommended.

This is very easy to use and set up mug press. Heats up quickly and works well. It comes with the machine, sub paper and heat tape. It has a couple settings for both Heat and time. One of the best features I liked about the mug press is auto shut up in case you forget. Which is 30 minutes. Sometimes I get busy and forget so this is great! Best advice please watch some you tube videos to learn how to sub different sizes etc. This is very much compatible to the leading brands out there. Love it! ... show more
