This is a great shelf! It’s about 4’9” inches tall, and 32” inches wide. It was very easy to assemble, with clear instructions and sticker labels that made it a simple process. It’s very sturdy once assembled as well- we moved with it in a U-Haul and it wasn’t damaged at all! I use it as a display for my Starbucks cups collection, and the shelves are the perfect size for the venti cold cups (with a little extra room too!) I am sure it would work well for books or other items too. It’s very light weight, which makes it easy to move (whether for an entire move or just a little adjustment on placing!) The color is very nice as well, it looks very sleek and helps make my bright cups pop! Overall it’s a very good shelf for displaying items or whatever else you may want to use it for. Obsessed with this bookcase, it is so sturdy, well built and looks so pretty. it comes with all the tools needed, all the screws organized with a few extras, along with perfectly detailed instructions that are not confusing. It did not take that long to build (granted, I did it by myself, and was also distracted, watching TV, which caused me to redo some steps as I used the wrong screw, etc. lol) but I bet with two people it would take less than 10 minutes. the bottom of the top shelf reaches the tip of my head (i'm 5'5") so it's a perfect height for a stand bookcase. it's also not that deep so it doesn't feel really bulky and in the way, but it can still fit large sized books with no issue. so worth the value for money! ... show more

This is a great bookcase. Easy to Assemble. Sturdy. Stylish. Looks great in any room. Only beef is with the manufacturer. In my hardware kit, I am supplied a barrel nut that does not go with the unit. Not in the instructions or part list. Since I received this one piece, I did not receive the proper nut. This unit is like anything piece one assemble from IKEA. I screw goes into a hole with the top part being inserted into another hole. The other hole has a barrel nut that the screw lock into. The barrel is turned with a screwdriver to lock the shelf in place. This is the piece I was missing. They provide a phone number for product support. If you purchase from Amazon, they send you over to them. Amazon solution, all you get is a recording, is to return the entire unit. What kind of BS is that? The unit is assembled. ..So, before doing anything, check to make sure you have the complete part list. If not, then you have to find something on your own to fit because product support is non existent. A great unit otherwise. Lesson learned though ... show more

Cool modern DIY shelves. They do their job by keeping stuff off floor. Not hard to put together but better to use intuition than instructions (tiny print). They're sturdy and hold their designated shelves weight easily. Had no blemishes in surface materials. Would order again

LOVE this bookshelf. I needed to purchase a bigger bookshelf for my books but something that would fit into a certain corner of my bedroom. This fit perfect and was fairly easy to put together. I love the design and I will be purchasing another one to have for when I need it.
