Why did you pick this product vs others?: Two of the side corners are thin plastic and are shipped with them bent inward. When you bend them the correct way to assemble, they immediately crack and split. We bought 2 boxes and one arrived with no screws. When contacted they would not send us replacement screws. We went and purchases our own and bought 4 angle irons to attach to the inside corners to give the boxes more structure. We also had to purchase silicone and brown duct table to fix the splits and cracks. We didn't want to bother with returning them since we don't know if we would have the same problem with other companies' products. We ended up spending another $100 to fix the problems. ... show more

Great product. It's is a sturdy box and has not issue with the weather. I've had 2 big storms and the outdoor cushions are dry as a bone. Storage is massive. I like the added spacer for it, currently I don't need it but it is a great option later on down the road to have.

I really love this box! I was able to assemble it alone. One corner was dinged in a bit on arrival, but I'm not going for a photo shoot here. Advice: having a ratcheting screwdriver and a decent (12 pound or so) rubber mallet made snapping in a breeze. It is a bit awkward to assemble but manageable for one handy person and a breeze for two. My only complaint is the pressurized hinge mechanisms stretched fully out before I indtalled them (I was trying to check and made sure they worked and now will not retract, so if anyone has a fix for that please lmk. Otherwise it's sturdy, holds a lot and is well worth the price! ... show more

It was so easy to assemble. I did it by myself in less than 30 minutes. The instructions were simple enough. Just followed the pictures and done. It feels sturdy enough, but I wouldn't use it as a sitting bench. Just perfect for my patio cushions.
