We ordered this storage box to hold all the cushions we have for outdoor furniture. The dimensions specified are exact and everything we planned fit in there perfectly. The divider that comes with it makes it perfect for different sized things. When we got the first one the lid was damaged by the shipping company. We reached out and Amy responded right away and within a few days we had a replacement without any troubles. It was great to have a good quality product and such great customer service. I would highly recommend.

Update Spring 2026: Purchased this mid-summer 2024. This spring we discovered that the lid is dipping in the middle and curling up on the front corners. Nothing has ever been stored on top of the lid. The lid is attached to a metal frame with screws, but the screws have stripped out of the lid. The manufacturer said it is outside of the 1 year warranty, and there are no parts available. They suggested I find a local fix. I suggest that you buy another brand. A deck box made to be outside that warps after less than 2 summers in the northeast is not worth the money. Original review: Two people are recommended for assembly. It can be done by one handy person. However, getting the lid attached is awkward/tricky due to the size and angles, and it is really helpful to have someone to hold it while it is secured.

Great product. Very easy to assemble but you will need help to attach lid. All parts were provided and instructions were very clear. Lid had internal natal supports in addition to hydraulic lifts to hold lid in Place. overall very pleased with item.

This box does not assemble like their other boxes and the instructions included act like the sides just 'click' in like the other boxes do. I spent several frustrating hours back and forth trying to get this to just 'click' together as per the included instructions. I finally did a search on the internet and found a video showing how to put this box together: https://www.amazon.com/vdp/03423ab1d60448dd8411b6b4c44f3a41? Once I saw this, then it really did only take a few minutes to put together. Please change your instructions!! The box is big and feels sturdy, but it did come with one of the corners already ripped (see photo). However, due to the size, I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of trying to exchange it so I just kept it as is. I also sprayed some Flex Seal around the inside bottom edges to keep bugs and water out.

"We are thrilled with our new Yitahome deck box. We needed an extra large size because of the cushions for our outdoor couch and this box works out great. The size, design and color are great and an extra bonus is that we will be able to use the top as a food serving area when we have guests over. Really nice! We had an issue with our installation and contacted the company. Can’t say enough about their customer service! We heard back from them within 24 hours and they were fantastic and worked with us to completely solve our issue. Couldn’t be happier - definitely recommend the deck box and the company!"

The putting together of the unit, sides to bottom, is difficult. We followed to a T. Also used a towel over unit edge, with a 2" X 1" oak board above towel to beat (in the 'sealing' cover recess) with a large head rubber mallet. Took two grown men to place properly and hard pounding. Make sure you place sides as directed on the bottom. We did. The unit is scratch less with no flaws. Perfect size of storage for our pool and hot tub everything(s)!

I purchased this box to store my crabbing gear and camping stuff at my lot on the coast. Almost 11 months later, I have noticed (like others) that the top has become warped and some of the screws have pulled away from the lid on one corner. I think a lot of it has to do with it being in the direct sun all day and the drastic weather we've had this past year in Louisiana — first extremely hot then freezing. Even with the warping, I see no signs of water intrusion. I am going to do what one of the other reviewers suggested and add 4" hook & eye closures to the corners to prevent further warping and possibly try some longer screws to replace the ones that have pulled out. Customer service was very responsive and offered a partial refund.
