So I got this ice maker because the one in our fridge doesn't work, and I thought - hey, this might be nicer than filling trays! First off - it's loud. It will also heat up the area it's put in. The ice is super melty. It's loud. Oh yeah and they expect you to fully clean it every day. XD Not a chance. Anyway, I GUESS it would be okay if I didn't have a freezer and REALLY needed ice. But as it is, it's going in the yard sale pile.

The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome counter top ice maker. Just clean it out properly before the first use, fill with water, and it starts making ice as soon as you plug it in and on. The first round took about 10 minutes while it got nice and cool inside, but after that the following rounds were about 5 minutes or less. The fill light came on in about an hour. The ice is more of an oval hollow shape, but still easily crunched and perfect for a quick drink. This is a great portable tool that's perfect for different occasions. With summer coming up, you can bring it outside out of the sunlight and have a setup for ice with lemonade/water for the kids. If you have an older freezer with a non-working ice machine but still have room for the ice tray, you can fill it up with this ice to keep some on hand. You could quickly fill up a drink cooler as well. The ice maker keeps it chilly in the basket, but keep in mind it does not keep the ice frozen for a long period of time. The ice will start melting depending on the room temperature, so this is ideal for either transporting into a cooler area or using for drinks as it is made.

This is a good ice maker. It is as described and pictured. The material quality seems durable and sturdy. It's a little noisy but not annoying. The size and color are nice. It produces enough ice in a good time frame. I would recommend for any home, office, personal or professional use. This would make a nice housewarming or gift idea.

Enough for a tall drink in 5 minutes. Enough for several tall drinks in an hour. Took about an hour to fill up the basket. This thing is super quiet. Can barely hear the fan unless right by it. Can hear each cycle of cubes from nearby, enough to let you know it is time for that tall drink. I like that there are two cube size selections. I prefer the small. Very portable yet stable. Great product. Great value.
