As other reviewers said, the material is very soft and lightweight. I can see how you could wear this with many different outfits. My problem is the color. I wear a lot of black on black so I actually need "black" to MEAN BLACK. I've included a picture for reference (there is a shadow near the bottom of the pic but you should be able to tell from the top of the picture, just how big of a difference this is from the usual standard black color. It looks like it has been through the wash quite a bit and has faded substantially. This is compared to my old cardigan that I also bought on Amazon and have had for years and has retained the black color that you can see in the photo. If this one starts out faded looking, and then also fades in the wash, who knows what you'll end up with! ... show more

    • Buttery soft and light weight and not too warm. Perfect for a tank top to cover.

The material of this is lovely and super buttery soft. You would not be warm in this but it would be enough to cover your arms if you were wearing a tank top. The size Large that I ordered is true to size. Love it so much I am going to get some other colors.
