I bought these to help secure my quilt blocks to a steel embroidery hoop to do machine quilting. They were a bit of a disappointment. Did not have the same strength as the magnets that came with the hoop. I would not purchase them again.

These are so much more effective than the original top hoop that I purchased a long time ago. I purchased eight of them for my very large hoop and it is very effective, holding the quilt fabric in place. Very good product.

So these are strong, which is good obviously, but mine had broken inside and little shards of magnet were slicing out of the rubber all over it. I tried just wiping them off but more just came out. So yeah...that isn't good.
