Ehhhhhh. I wanted to give this a 3, but the long torso gave it another star. First of all. I’m 5’8” with a mommy pooch and I’m pear shaped. Weight 196. I buy these for back support because my torso is very weak and I have scoliosis but also enjoy the slimming look it gives. The boning in this is not sturdy nor is it enough for support. It’s far too flexible for a good support for those who want that. It does allow movement though. So there’s that pro. Love the long torso. Helps hold in the pooch. Based off of my measurements I ordered at 3XL. I got it closed with minimal effort, so I feel as though I should have gone with a 2XL. I like that the back has a longer length as well so I don’t have quite as much back fat puffing over the top. I wish these companies would make some type of vest that could help pull the shoulders back but also to prevent the pudge. I have another waist trainer that I ordered on here. I love the support it has much better than this. It has more boning and it’s a stiffer steel boning but it still has flexibility for working out in the gym or picking up your children or pets, etc. I don’t remember how it’s spelled but starts with ECONO…anyway if you don’t need a long torso one, the other is great and comes in 2 lengths. This trainer is just ok in my book. Has a lot of room for improvement. I’m also not crazy about the material. Maybe it’ll grow on me.

I am 5'10" and finding waist trainers, or any kind of shapewear that actually fits me property is hard. They are not meant for my tall body. I was excited to find this "long torso" waist trainer. I prayed that it would fit me. It is much longer and it sure fits me better, but it is not perfect. If I set it right below my breast, it does not shape my hips property. It gives it a weird bump. However, if I lower it to where it gives me the perfect hourglass shape, I get back fat and some between my breast and the waist trainer. If it were just 1 or 2 inches longer it would be perfect! I ordered a medium, based on the measuring chart and it fit on the last hook (I can't put it any tighter). A small would have been much better option for me. Thus far, this is the best waist trainer I have found, and I do love it. I find it very comfortable. It also helps with my lower back pain and it keeps me straight. I recommend!

For reference I’m 5’7 165 lbs and waist is 28in. I bought the size small because I wanted it to be tight! It’s not too tight to where I can’t breathe lol it’s perfect. I’m glad I didn’t size up like most reviews said. In my experience waist training you want to be able to only latch on first row and then get tighter as you go.

As time consuming and annoying as it is to put thse on, I must admit it does its job. I'm 5'4 250lbs ordered the 3X. At first it was hard to maneuver in but after a few wears it get a lil more comfy. My pro lemme is I put my wedding dress on over it and you can see all the lines and hooks. Nothing a pair of high waist shaperment shorts doesn't fix. Girl.... GET IT, YOU WONT REGRET IT! It also helps relieve back pain. I love how I no longer have to take up to 8 midol for my back pain anymore. Only down to 4
