I am extremely happy with these curtains. I recently moved to a new house that faces the street from one that was hidden up a long driveway with lots of foliage. I felt uncomfortable that people driving by could look right in through my sheers at night. I like lots of light though, so I decided to buy these blackout curtains and layer them on top of the sheers and it's perfect! I can close the curtains at night for privacy and use curtain ties to pull the to the side and leave the sheers underneath during the day. About the curtains: 1. The color is beautiful. I ordered the hunter green. 2. They are very soft and felt like. 3. They washed beautifully. I saw some reviews and questions asking about the wrinkles and, quite frankly, I'm guessing they didn't wash them before hanging them. I washed mine first and then hung them up and no wrinkles. 4. The grommets are well placed and solid. 5. They are relatively thick, yet soft, and look like they will hold up a long time. 6. The prices was reasonable. 7. Upon opening them I could smell a slight box-like smell from shipping and hung them outside for an hour before washing them. No weird chemical odors. I was worried these curtains wouldn't be dark enough by looking at photo reviews but now I see that photos don't do justice. These curtains are dark, our phones just try to compensate for the darkness in the room so it brightens up the pictures. The purple curtain on the right is what we used to have but my daughter's room was way too bright during naptime, the sun shines in all afternoon/evening. Theses curtains are an EXCELLENTLY quality, yummy fabric and they completely block out the sun during the day and no one can see in at night! (I turned on all of my lights, went outside and tested them!) The color is sumptuous and I encourage you to not waste your money on any inferior product!
