We recently just bought a sixty-five inch television recently and instead of hanging it on the wall, I wanted to just place it on a dresser in our bedroom. I have been on the lookout for a dresser that matches our theme in our room and came across this one that popped up in my feed. I decided to pull the trigger on it and was happy I did. The dresser itself was super easy to put together. Took me about forty minutes to have it ready. There is a power outlet on top which makes it easier to plug in the television or any other tech items such as a DVD player or just for charging my phone. This is great because I have just one plug going into the wall from the charger on top and do not have a bunch of plugs in the wall outlet. There is a ton of space in the drawers and the white color looks stunning in our newly redesigned bedroom.

You likely already noticed the drawers are fabric with cheap plastic handles. I expected that and wasn't surprised, but felt I should mention it. This means it's a great dresser for occasional use, not daily use. Putting it together was a minor nightmare. Hence the 4 stars. The instructions are similar to IKEA but lacking in a few steps so it's really easy to make a mistake. I made 3 big mistakes that required taking bolts back out and here is where the problem came in. The bolts are cheap metal. They screw in fine but only once. Try to unscrew them and you can very very easily strip them!! I stripped 4 bolts. I was able to remove three with pliers, which scratched the white paint off. (My fault, I should have put blue tape down as protector). One I had to drill out. Those bolts were the nightmare. It would have been better for me if I'd gone to Lowe's with one of the bolts and bought new bolts in that size, made of better material. So double, triple and quadruple check that you're putting it together right before you screw bolts in. Also note. The directions say you do NOT need a screw driver but DO need a drill with a 1/4 bit. No! You do NOT need a drill or drill bit (unless you strip a screw, too). You DO need a Philips head screw driver. The tiny allen wrench style screwdriver tip included is impossible to work with to get the drawer handle screws on. A Philips head, or a screw gun, will save your hand and probably 45 minutes of work! The allen wrench included works fine on the bolts. Unless you have to unscrew them.... they're so soft they will strip. But I already vented about that. It took me almost 4 hours to put together. I'm a fairly good DIYer, built dozens of IKEA like things... This was one of the most frustrating ever. Granted part of that 4 hours was spent looking for tools like the drill and screw extractors and xacto knives to remove bolt covers... If I had built it without mistakes, it probably would have taken 1.5 hours. See my pic with notes on the instructions that will hopefully prevent mistakes for you. And do note this is quite skinny. That's what drew me - I needed something that wouldn't stick out far from the wall. Because it's so tall (taller than counter height) and so skinny, it is not the most stable piece of furniture. Definitely use the wall straps if you have kids or cats. It's a guest bedroom dresser for us and I've told guests not to put luggage on it. Makeup bags, clean towels, clothes.... all fine! But it won't hold up to a suitcase on top. On a good note, everything is super well packaged!! I was majorly impressed and optimistic that it'd be an easy build. Every wooden piece had corner protectors (sturdy plastic ones to prevent damage!!). And every single part was in a bag, which meant extra time unpacking BUT also meant none of it was covered in that fiberglass like mess styrofoam coats things with, so I was appreciative. Every bag of hardware was clearly labeled. Most had 1 extra piece included. Not every metal or wooden piece is labeled.... At least 2 weren't. But those two pieces had identical twins that were labeled. So it was easy to go, "This looks exactly like 20. This must also be a 20." Now, once it's finally together, it's nice. It's very long. It holds a lot of my seasonal storage while still functioning as a guest bedroom dresser. I like it. The fact that it doesn't stick out far from the wall makes it perfect in our tight space. Just be aware of the downsides and don't order if you're looking for an every day dresser in a main bedroom, or in a kids' room. It's perfect for an occassional use guest room.

I now own three of these and I love them.. They are easy to put together. + Very functional. I have them in my kids room. They look nice and I don't care if something happens to it because I didn't spend a fortune on it. It's holding the TV nicely. It's not wobbly or anything. I did use the strap to attach it to the wall just in case. Took me about 20 minutes to put together
