These coolers are expensive but worth it if you need your stuff to stay cold for a week. I took my cooler on a 7 day trip to the high desert in November and there was still ice in it when I got home. I used two of the 4lb Yeti blue ice, and two of the 2lb and one big bag of loose ice. In comparison my old igloo cooler would have lasted about 3 days max. I also bought the shorter divider YETI Tundra 105 & 125 Cooler Divider - Short Side, and an extra basket for ease of finding stuff. In the middle of the trip I had to chip the ice off the stuff in the bottom of the cooler. I picked up the lock set and the tie downs but didn't use them. I was concerned about camping in bear country but the high desert never was a problem. However I'm glad I've got them for the next trip. I also used a dolly to move it myself from the kitchen to the van. It is bulky/heavy even when empty. Also there is no discount on Yeti products, so you can order these things direct from the manufacturer. ... show more

Everyone knows how great the Yeti is and there is nothing new I can say, but I spent a lot of time picking out this cooler as a gift for a friend. He is an avid outdoorsman who hunts, fishes, boats and camps and trying to decide what size to get him was a huge dilemma. This turned out to be the perfect size to fit in his boat, use as an extra seat and was deep enough to be able to keep some stuff high and dry. Plenty of room to pack for an extended camp trip, not so heavy or long that it is impossible to move. Perfect versatile size. Pronghorn Outfitters had excellent service and shipped it faster than most of my prime orders, with tracking info. Would not hesitate to order from them again. ... show more

This cooler does it's job and does it well. Hauled a weeks worth of meals from Texas to Florida. Also kept water and beer cool on the patio all summer. The only reason for a 4 instead of 5 is the thing is almost too heavy to use. Empty it's almost all I can lift by myself and I am a fairly strong guy ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Arrived a day later than promised. Whose fault? Amazon or seller?? I paid on time. Fulfillment was late. ColdLock Gasket leaks water and air. Doesn’t keep ice very long. Backstory. Total Knee Replacement. ColdRush Medical Device circulates cold water around the knee to reduce swelling and pain. Currently buying 40 LBS / day. Last knee had an Igloo. Looked forward to getting a $541 Yeti to save on ice and focus on healing. Really disappointed. Keeping the Igloo. Yeti is heavy, bulky and is not worth the money. I've always heard how great these Yeti coolers are, so had to finally break down and get one. I chose the 105 qt. because of the large storage and small foot print. So far I love it, my ice consumption has gone down, and I use the ice for drinking as well as keeping the cooler cold. I fabricated a divider to put in the slot provided, I keep ice and drinks on one side, food on the other. Works well for me that way. It came with a food tray that slides on top, I keep my cheeses, and foods I don't want to touch water in it. I'll add to this review in the coming months, living and working outdoors in Texas is one of the ultimate challenges for a cooler. ... show more
