TL/DR: This thing is great, but not without some negatives. The top is great, but the mug is heavy. PROs: -------- - Keeps coffee hot for hours, longer than most other insulated tumblers I've tried. - Sliding magnetic top is GENIUS! Works every time, doesn't catch like the rubber- gasketed ones. It's also REMOVABLE for cleaning! Again, Genius! (but see Con below) - This holds about 20 ounces, if it's fuller than that you can't put the lid on- well, you can, but it overflows. - Easy cleaning: dishwasher safe. You can remove the edge gasket to clean it and the groove where it goes. The slider part also is removable. And if you were to lose the slider, you can get new ones from Yeti. (Actually, you can even get color-matched ones of you want.) CONs: -------- - Heavy!! Don't know what they put in there, but it feels like it's solid steel. Add the weight of the beverage, and it's seriously heavy. Those with wrist/arm problems should avoid. - Slider top: I haven't found a way to open it with one hand, i.e. while holding the mug. Not a huge deal, but I have to slide it open, then pick it up and drink, then put it down, then close it. Other tumblers I've used let you open the top with a finger while holding the mug. Probably a minor issue.

The YETI Rambler 24 oz Mug is a great mug for travel or at home. I like to have it outside with me when I cut the grass. It's exceptional at keeping liquids cool and doesn't leak. For me it's the perfect shape. It doesn't fit in a traditional cup holder but I don't like top-heavy cups so it's perfectly proportional for me. It's also dishwasher safe for easy cleaning, and also cleans up easily by hand. It also comes in almost any color you can think of. I highly recommend this mug.

Dislike: I wish there was a standard for listing how many fluid ounses held. This is 24oz only if filled right to the brim which you then can't put the lid on. It really holds 4 oz less. More of an irritation than important factor in purchase. Likes: It is heavy -filled with water and lid on is 3 lbs, (empty with lid 1lb 4oz.) For me weight can bother arthritis in hands but this mug the handle is great and makes lifting the filled mug easy. The weight of it also helps keep it stable, not easily tipped over. I wanted flat bottom and the weight helps so it wouldn't get knocked over easily like the "travel" mugs that have tapered bottoms. It keeps my iced drinks constantly cold, well insulated. I do love this mug! The magnetic sliding opening on the lid is a big bonus, surprised me how easily it slides open/closed. It also comes apart to clean unlike all the other style/brands that are hard to take apart. Cleaning insturctions online video was a plus as I never knew how to get the rubber seal off to clean. Yes, I will buy more of these and get rid of all my old travel mugs. A very well made product!

Yeti's defy the laws of thermodynamics & are just plain great!. * Keeps hot beverages, hot, and cold beverages, cold for enormously long periods of time. * Holds upwards of 3 cups * Top works like a charm. * Handles is comfortable. I'm a fan!

Wanted a cup that would keep ice longer and wasn't top heavy like all the others. I love the handle and it's kept my drinks cold and icy all day long. Love the ease of the mag-slide lid, so easy to open and shut and keeps my drink vacuum sealed when closed. I haven't had any spilling issues and I know that it's not spill proof, but so far it hasn't been a problem.

Great quality! It’s not cheaply made and quite hefty! But then again, that’s what you are paying for with a yeti! Keeps my coffee hot for hours, although sometime it takes too long for it to cool enough to sip! Lol! But with a small desk fan and lifting the lid off, it cools in about 30-45 mins. Then I can put the top back on to start to sip my coffee! Then the coffee stays warm for another 5-6 hrs after that with the lid on. If you can get past the sticker shock, it’s worth the money! But this model DOES NOT FIT in a cup holder in your car! And the lid is spill proof, not leak proof, which means if the slider is over the drink hole and you knock the mug over, some liquid will leak, but the contents won’t spill out. It greatly limits the potential mess. So as long as you are ok with these things, I highly recommend this product!

I love yeti! Keeps coffee hot. I love the lid and the magnetic slider! I struggle with the typical slider breaking, with the magnetic slider for the lid, it’s easy to clean. I was worried it would fall or be awkward, but it’s super functional. The only con of the cup is it is a bit heavy, so I can be cumbersome to hold for a while and it doesn’t fit in a typical cup holder, so not travel friendly…that’s why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I would purchase it again.
