We were introduced to Yeti products some 10 years ago and we were instantly hooked. Plain and simple, Yeti makes fundamentally different, absolutely dependable, and extremely functional insulated coolers, growlers, mugs, drinking jugs, and related containers that are just perfect for tasks at hand. If you need to pack food or drinks and keep them hot, cold, or warm, Yeti will get the job done. If you need hard- or soft-sided coolers that don't leak, just look to Yeti. Ditto with this rambler that serves as a 20 ounce travel coffee mug and fits nicely into the cup holder of your vehicle. This innovative coffee mug is made of high quality, food grade stainless steel. It is double-insulated to keep your drink hot or cold, as you prefer. The finish is impeccable and the double insulation ensures that there is no external condensation that beads up on the outside of your rambler. You look to Yeti for innovation and this rambler features a one-of-a-kind lid. The lid features a sliding plastic strip that you slide forward or backward to uncover or cover up the opening in the lid to access your beverage for a drink. To ensure that there will be no accidental leakage or spills, that slider uses a magnet to be held in place and to keep that area of the lid water-tight. To access the drinking hole, you press down on the strip to disengage the magnet and slide the strip forward. Once you've had your gulp, you simply slide the slider back to cover the hole. If you do not depress the slider, it will not slide open. As long as you slide it back shut after your drink, it will not spill, even if you somehow drop or tilt over the rambler. It is not complicated and takes 1/2 of a second. Brilliant. Sure, you can go to a big box retailer and buy cheap knock-offs for dollars less, but the contents will go tepid in short order. Over the long run, you will find this Yeti Rambler travel coffee mug to be not only an exceptional product but an economical one, as well.

I use this every day for work. I bring coffee usually, but sometimes tea. Either way, it keeps my drink hot from 5 AM when I fill the mug until 10:30 or 11:00, when it's still warm and drinkable. The mug itself has no trouble fitting in the cup holder on a 2017 Honda CR-V. It also fits, but not quite as nicely in the cup holder on a 2019 Subaru Forester. Mind, I mean the center console cup holders. This will not fit in the door cup holders. It also fits in the fold down arm rest cupholder on the 2017 Honda CR-V. I haven't tried it on the Forester yet. The green is really, really nice. It's a great forest green and reminds me of the green used to paint Army vehicles. Green is one of my favorite colors, so maybe I'm biased, but it's really well done. I haven't dropped it or anything, but there hasn't been any chipping or damage as a result of normal hand washing after months of use. I feel like this is one of those mugs that I could use until I lose it, or until Yeti stops making replacement gaskets for the plastic lid. Pro tip: before you remove the gasket on the lid to wash it for the first time, make sure you look to see how it's positioned so that you don't have any issues putting it back on. It's not designed in a way that it's intuitive to put it back and if you don't place the gasket back on there the right way, it's going to leak. As long as you have the seal on correctly and the magnet locking thing on top is closed, it's not going to leak. Often, my hands will be full and I'll have the mug hanging almost parallel to the floor from two fingers as I walk to my car. The only time I had an issue was when I first removed and washed the rubber seal and put it back on the wrong way. This is a purchase that you won't regret and I'll definitely be buying more Yeti mugs in the future, as additions, not replacements.
