The lid too, which the plastic part is always the part I most worry about. It keeps ice cold, and hot coffee hot. The size is as described and it fits in my car cupholder. Yeti cups are great in keeping cold things cold, or hot things hot for long after an ordinary cup would do so. The lid design is great with the magnetic slide that helps reduce sloshing when one is not actively drinking. It's not leak-proof, I've gotten my bag when with the cup has accidentally fallen sideways. That being said, as long as you keep it upright, it's pretty safe from spills. Recently, I had an occasion to appreciate Yeti's great customer service on another cup that had a peeling finish. Yeti's website provides a way to provide the individual serial number of the item (Yes, each of their cups has a unique number) and to describe the problem. I was immediately offered the opportunity to get a replacement cup (in a different finish) and could either get the cup first (and return the defective one), or mail in the cup first and then get the replacement. It all worked really smoothly, and so if I ever have a problem with this particular cup, I have confidence Yeti will address the issue.

This is a great mug, and it's my second one. That way I can run one through the dishwasher now and then. The mug works great, keeping my drinks cold. I wish it weren't so expensive, but I think it's worth it despite the cost.

This review is for the color not the quality. Because I can’t say any bad things about this tumbler. I really like the quality. I ordered this one to replace my 5 year old one, while it’s still functioning and kept the coffee hot, I want a different color. That being said, I ordered the purple (or I thought I was ordering the purple) but in person the actual color is blue! Even my 5 year old said, “nice blue tumbler mummy!” 😅 I still give it a 5 star rating for quality and durability. The 20 oz capacity is perfect, and the shape is easy on the hand to hold.

Lo e this cup. Keeps coffee hot for hours and hours. Cold drinks are kept cold for just as long. The colored finish looked great when it arrived but as time goes on there are splotches of fading that keep showing up. I am gonna guess the finishing prep wasnt done right as my wifes cups finish is just like on day 1 several years later. 4 stars because i am disappointed that the finish is inconsistent and i wish there were more colors to choose from. Performance cant be beat though. Will buy again just not this color.
