I read some reviews that indicated this bottle leaked. I haven't had any problem with this bottle leaking. It's doesn't leak. I'm wondering if people are aware of how the Hot Shot lid works? I love the Hot Shot lid. I can pick the bottle up from any side and drink from it. And, it stays hot forever(hours). I am one that loves my coffee hot. I am always putting my cup (ceramic) back in the microwave to re-heat my coffee. I use my Yeti to drink my coffee now. I can put 2 cups in it, to drink on it all morning, and it stays hot! Apparently, Yeti retired the Alpine Yellow color. I had to purchase it from a 3rd party vendor. It cost a little more than Yeti's regular price. That's ok. I had to have the Alpine Yellow color. It almost matches the paint I chose to paint my house, to a tee. Apparently, I'm obsessed with this color now.

I bought this YETI rambler cup as a gift to a coworker who loves coffee, but never seemed to make it out the door with it. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!! It's too beautiful to be left at home! 5 reasons this is a MUST HAVE CUP: -It has a lid that locks, so it won't leak. No more worrying if your hands are full and it tilts.... if you need to throw it in your purse or or it rolls in the seat of the car. IT WON'T SPILL!!!! -it's super durable stainless steel, so it will last -you can throw it in the dishwasher, so it's super easy to clean -it keeps coffee hot (or cold) for a SUPER long time, thanks to the duble-wall vacuum insulation. My coffee stays hot for hours and hours...... I'm not kidding! -It comes in a great variety of colors, so the cups can be matched to different personalities, outfits... days of the week... you name it!!!!! For $30, this is the PERFECT gift and is UNDOUBTEDLY worth the money!!!! I highly recommend buying this cup as a gift and get one for yourself, too!

This is the perfect size for a smaller hand. It keeps a beverage cool all day and hot beverages HOT all day. The hot shot top is very convenient when driving. I like that the bottle & top are dishwasher safe.

First one arrived and leaked between the cap and bottle. I tried everything I could and it still leaked. Looked like the bottle itself wasn’t flush across the top, causing a small gap. Sent it back and got another. Also leaked. But I repositioned the gasket and it quit leaking and has not leaked since. This has quickly become my favorite for coffee. Keeps it hot in the morning and perfect temp on first break 4 hours later. The design is awesome. I had also bought a 20 oz stronghold mug, and haven’t used it since getting this one. Out of the two, I would pick the bottle.

I just love everything about this bottle. The versatility, the durability, the surface of the bottle is great for covering with stickers, I can drink whatever I want from this bottle. I’ve got the hotshot cap that came with it as well which is perfect for teas and coffees, and a chug top as well, perfect for water or other flavored drinks. And to top it all off, it’s super well insulated so hot drinks stay hot and cold drinks stay cold all day long. This is a product for LIFE.

Ease of use: great. The lid is water tight as designed. Drinking liquids is easy. Cleaning take an extra step. Cleaning: still tastes like coffee after cleaning I think it’s just the nature of coffee to stay in the material. Not yetis fault at all. Keeps cold drinks cold and warm drinks warm

Pros: In the past I've purchased other less expensive brands of thermos/tumblers/to go cups for my coffee not wanting to splurge on a Yeti. It was definitely worth the extra money! It definitely keeps my coffee hot much longer than other brands. Also the lid is 2 pieces that easily come apart for cleaning. I've had other to go cups with multiple lid parts that were difficult get clean well and a mind game to put back together. I feel 100% confident the top is totally clean and it has nowhere to hide mold. IYKYK it can happen with any type of reusable type beverage containers. Cons (if you can call it that): Due to the better heat retention this to go cup is MUCH heavier than others I've had- it's a trade off for the longer time my coffee stays hot. The weight of the empty mug feels about the same as another brand that is full with coffee. I'm still getting used to the lid. When you twist it open you can drink from any side vs having a smaller designated place to sip/place your mouth on other cups. Due to this, It is confusing to tell if the top is open or closed. I'm constantly turning the inside piece of the top to feel if it's open or closed since I can't see if it is open or closed. I've had a few instances where I thought I had closed it but because there is no obvious physical sign it's open I ended up having a coffee spill. Note: I have not tried cold beverages in it yet so I can't speak to that. This is not a top you could use a straw with. I do not have a dishwasher so can't speak to that (also I'm unsure if it's recommended for dishwasher) I will definitely splurge for Yeti cups in the future- it's worth it!
